Summary: Just another sickly entertaining teenage film.
Review: Although I am a fan of movies like this, I don't know quite how others would respond to it because it takes a certain personality to enjoy it. It falls into the category with Welcome to the Dollhouse and The Opposite of Sex. They are funny and witty to me but others think they are sad or sick. But if you enjoy movies like the ones I mentioned, Jawbreaker is definatly worth the 1 hour and 45 minutes that it takes to watch it.

Review: This is not a deep, well planned, sophisticated movie. It's boring, predictable, and the acting is terrible.There were a few small attempts to be at least humorous, but definately save your money and your time.

Summary: Almost broke my jaw laughing!!
Review: This is one of the most outrageous films this year and far outshines the more recent teenage comedies such as "She's all that" and "10 things I hate". What would you do if you murdered your best friend by accidentally choking them with a jawbreaker and were caught by the school nerd?..Why offer them a make-over of course!! And this is the theme of the movie but "You can't hide the truth with a make-over". It has been compared to "Heathers" in past reviews but I'm so sorry folks, because there is NO comparison, and as much as I love that movie, "Heathers" is the shadow and "Jawbreaker" is the sun!! It contains one of the wittiest and original screenplays and if you've a sick sense of humor you'll lap this up with a desert spoon!!! See it!!!

Summary: Not really worth it...
Review: I read that Jawbreaker was a cross between Clueless and Heathers... Not hardly. Same dark themes as Heathers- same candy colors and great clothes as Clueless- nowhere near as smart as either one. The script was lame (in the true sense of the word) and the acting was just silly. Not even in a fun way. Rose McGowan is beautiful-- but, sadly, that is the best thing I can say. If you want a truly witty, dark, and interesting teen movie--Try "Election". Reese Witherspoon is lovely- and the whole cast is brilliant.

Review: This was a great flick! One of 1999's best! This was a good way to end the century! Rose McGowan was the best part! She is awesome! Julie Benz was also good. The plot was good, the acting was great, ect. Even if you don't like Rose, but want to see something good, you'll LOVE this film!

Review: This was the best movie since Clueless for teens. The storyline and special effects were great as well as the excellent performance by Rebecca Gayheart. God she is pretty. The ending was very effective as well as the beginning. I recommend this movie for all teens who loved Clueless and Urban Legend. This movie is great on DVD.

Review: Jawbreaker is a great dark comedy starring Rose McGowan(Phantoms, Scream) as Courtney "Satin-in-heals" Shane who convines her grouppies Marcie Fox, known to herself Foxy played by Julie Bentz (As Good As It Gets) and Julie played by Rebecca Gayheart(Scream 2, Urban Legand) to lie and say that their friend, Elizibeth Purr(Lizz) was not accidentilly killed by them in an innocent birthday kidnapping prank, but instead was raped and that they had no part in her death. The movie has some great plot twists and some great lines. Go and see it on DVD or VHS. P.S. To the person who wrote the line of Foxy as "You're shoe-in for prom queen?": Did you even see the movie, or just the trailer? The line is "You're issuing for prom queen?"

Review: This movie was great! I watched it 6 times in a row because I loved it so much. It reminds me of well...me. In my senior year i'll be playing pranks like that and i'll be one of the flawless 4. It is a great movie and it depicts the reailty of high school and the only thing about it that was bad was that in real life it would never happen like that. But still it's super cool. It was a great movie and I think that everyone should see it. Julie Benz played a great ditzy blonde and Rose McGowan played the best part in this movie. Rebecca Gayheart did a great job in this movie too. I loved the whole thing all in all and I think you shoudl rent it or buy it.
