Rating: Summary: The Best Movie Ever Review: Can't Hardly Wait is such a good portrayal of what happens gradutation night. I thank God that someone actually had the guts to make a movie about it. This movie is hilarious thanks to so many jokes from Special K (seth green) and romantic from Ethan Embry. If you want a movie that you can watch over and over again then this is it. I've seen it 49 times
Rating: Summary: Hell of a movie Review: This was a great movie, but why is it 90 big ones? IF U ASK ME THAT DOESNT MAKE SENSE!
Rating: Summary: One of the best movies of ALL TIME Review: I loved this movie. It was so incredibly right abotu tennage life today. My friends and I could cast every single one of these characters in the kids in our classes. I did not stop laughing at all throughout the one and a half hours. My favorite characters were Kenny Fisher (Seth Green's EXCELLENT acting skills) who was so correct in his black-wannabe white character. My other favorite character is the Boy Who Steals Everything. Even though he didn't have any real part in the movie it is so funny to watch him just appear out of nowhere just stealing stuff. BUT 90 BUCKS FOR A MOVIE THAT I CAN GET FOR 15?!?!?!?!?! GET REAL, AMAZON.COM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Not bad, but $90 is too much for a "ditz" movie!! Review: I love this movie, it's hilarious! The only thing is: Why anyone would pay 90 bucks for a dumb little video casette, I don't know.
Rating: Summary: MY FAVORITE MOVIE! Review: I absolutley love this movie! Of course, I don't think you can fully appreciate it unless you are a teenager currently in high school. I can honestly cast the whole movie with people from my high school, which is what makes it so funny. Seth Green is absolutley hilarious and so real it's scary. I think if you enjoy a good teen comedy, this is the best one since Empire Records, so SEE IT! IT'S GREAT and Ethan Embry is a sweetie!
Rating: Summary: Surprisingly Entertaining Review: I rented this movie thinking that it was just going to be another one of those stupid little teen flicks that nobody ever talks about after the week that it comes up. I WAS WRONG! I found this one of the funnier movies that I have seen in a long time. Even though it had some stupid parts, I really enjoyed this movie and I reccomend it.
Rating: Summary: Really fun to watch! Review: It was a roll over laughing movie, perfect to watch with a bunch of friends. "What'd he say? Rewind it back." "No! There's a good part coming up!" "Hahahahaha!!" Great. The only thing was it was rather depressing about how obsessed everyone in that movie was about their images. But I loved it anyway. The three dippy cheerleader girls were a scream as well as scary! "Oh, my god! This means she can function without a relationship! Is that even possible?" All right, so they didn't say that, but that was what was on my mind. I wish the sheep girl and stealing guy had bigger parts. They were incredibly funny, but underdeveloped. I wish almost every character in that movie got a little bio at the end. But Jennifer... Eh... I just don't like her.
Rating: Summary: VERY entertaining! Review: This film could bring out the humor in just about anybody. I thought Jennifer Love Hewitt did an outstanding performance (considering that this is, so far, her only good movie). Seth Green was a riot! Special K was da bomb!
Rating: Summary: ______BEWARE OF ALL ENTERPRISES THAT REQUIRE NEW CLOTHES Review: I really enjoyed this movie. I don't think it's a GREAT movie worthy of 5 stars, but instead I think it's worth ***1/2 (I had to round up). This movie was hilarious, and I have laughed through the entire thing all 14 times I have seen it in the past two months. (Some scenes I've seen about 30 times. You know, you just have to rewind some to see them again) I may be, you know, addicted, but that's beside the point. This movie has terrific acting (Witness Seth Green, Lauren Ambrose, Ethan Embry, but excluding Jennifer Love Hewitt, I'm afraid), and yes, it even has symbolism. My favorite is the couple making out on the couch when Preston first tries to talk to Amanda and knocks over the candlesticks. They appear in the background several other times throughout the movie, at key points. 1: the graduation itself 2: When Amanda talks with the "Sheep Girl" 3: When Mike comes in from outside looking for Amanda and 4: On the table outside when Denise and Kenny are in the cafe. 5 times total, all at times concerning the central relationships of the movie. :) Anyways, there are a bunch of little things like this throughout the whole movie that add an extra level to it. That is the main reason why I've seen it 14 times. (And forced others in my dorm to see it). It is a fun movie, a good movie that is worth seeing over and over again. The cinematogrophy is EXCELLENT. The soundtrack is VERY GOOD. Even BETTER is the sound editing/mix. (Pay attention to the swell of the music when Mike admits he is a loser to William). And even the stereotypes ADD to the movie. Many dislike this movie for the stereotypical representations of the jock, yearbook girl, nerds, etc. But the essence of these stereotypes is very important to the movie. Because most people we come in contact ARE one-dimensional, for the very reason that we don't take the time or effort to get to know them. That is how the movie treats these people. Only those that the movie focuses on are developed and change. At any rate, we all know several of those people that are in the movie, and that is what makes it so familiar to all of us. I reccomend this movie to everyone. Don't expect a classic, but look deep into the movie, and the background, and you will discover more than you thought there ever could be!
