Review: This movie is full of funny scenes: an animated cartoon of a taunting Beth, a fire on TV in a fireplace, a singing hamburger, an oriental Howard Cossell impersonator, an obnoxious paperboy who haunts Lane almost as much as Beth's memory, and everybody asking Lane's permission to take out Beth, from the old, crusty teacher to Barney Rubble, my childhood hero!

Summary: The BEST 80's movies of all time
Review: If you have never seen this movie.....you are really missing out an EXCELLENT dark comedy about teen angst...you have to see the movie to understand this but....Everytime I go to the grocery store and see a bottle of french dressing..I always recall the dinner that Lane's mother puts together in honor of Monique, "french fries, french dressing and to drink, Peru".

Review: This is a must see for those people between gen-exers and baby boomers. It's a favorite of my friends. The comedy timing and sight (and sound) gags are stupendous. It's one of those movies that's so stupid, it's funny. I've seen this movie so many times, I can recite the dialogue.

Review: THIS IS ONE OF MY ALL-TIME FAVORITES1! I have owned this vidoe for years. John Cusack is a cutie and does such a great job as down-on-his-luck-and-love Lane. Even though he is torn up over the rejection of his girlfriend Beth and making every feeble attempt possible to take his life, he seems to be the most sane in a world of Jello snorting friends, loud-mouth meddling neighbors, a mother that is a disaterous cook, a father that just doesn't get it, and a strange little brother by the name of Badger that does not have one single line of dialogue in this film!This movie is such a delightful treat. I don't think too many people know about it, but everyone should.

Review: I bought this movie never seeing it before. I'm a fan of Steve Holland (the director)from EEK!!The Cat, and How I Got Into College. I saw the film and it cracked me up. I had doubt's about the movie before I saw it but it's one of my favorites. It has major cult potential.

Review: This has to be one of my favorite movies of all time. Nothing has ever struck quite the same chords in me that this did. "Gee, I'm real sorry you're Mom blew up.". I mean my God, what a great line. And how many French girls do you know that can throw an orange better than Randy Johnson can pitch, AND rebuild a Camaro just by looking at the original owner's manual!!
