Summary: Stiffler is better than ever!
Review: If you think it would be hard to top the first American Pie, You'd probably be right. But this version is almost as funny. I only wish I had seen it opening night instead of the early show on a Wednesday when the theatre was packed with the senior crowd. I felt pretty conspicious cracking up over the super-glue thing when I was the only one in the room laughing. I know this is hardly a high-brow film, but I'll buy it on video and set it on the shelf next to American Pie, Deuce Bigalow, Road Trip and Superstar. They just make me laugh....

Summary: Good movie
Review: Very funny but not the first American Pie. Really good.

Summary: More immoral Hollywood garbage! Skip it! Need I say more??
Review: I may not have been alive at the time, but the TV and movie industry back in the 50's and 60's never allowed much of the stuff back then like they do today: use of the Lord's name in vain, all kinds of cuss words, and worst of all, sexual immorality. (I may have not minded that a couple years ago, but being a believer in Christ, I am beginning to barely tolerate this.) Besides, what the heck is Hollywood doing letting young women marry men three times their age???

All I have to say for this movie is this: STAY AWAY FROM IT! ALL IT IS IS UNNESSARY IMMORAL JUNK. IT IS A DISGRACE TO THE WORLD TODAY. REMEMBER, YOU CAN'T REWIND TIME. FIND SOMETHING A LOT BETTER AND MORE INTERESTING TO DO INSTEAD.

Summary: American Pie a la mode
Review: A friend and I saw American Pie 2 on a Saturday night, and we basically reclined back in our seats and laughed like we never have before. There is no question as to if this is better than the first American Pie, the question is by how much.

The movie begins on the infamous college dorm scene that was heavily promoted in the trailers and TV spots, possibly because it's the only scene that's suitable to promote so heavily, thanks to alternate takes that are not seen in the movie. From there, the gang leaves college for the summer to a little high school nostalgia at Stifler's house, which later gets shut down by the cops. Desperate to make it the best summer ever, Kevin gets some advice from his brother to have a summer outing with the gang, and to end it with a beach party, to "see the big picture" by the end. But before that "big picture" happens, the audience has a lot more laughing to do.

In this movie, the characters that were in the background the last movie have their chance to shine in this one, which is probably the best part of the movie. Remember Michelle, the band camp girl? While she was just a secondary character with a character quirk in the first movie, her role is dramatically more important in this movie, especially at the end. (You don't want me to spoil the ending, do you?) Now, Michelle aside, remember...oh, of course you remember Stifler! While Stifler did have his moments in the first one, they were few and far between. In this one, when Jim's not getting into a tight situation (more on that later), Oz isn't trying phone sex with Heather, and Finch isn't obsessing over Stifler's Mom, Stifler steals the show. He arguably gets some of the biggest laughs in the film with some priceless one-liners and moments that just wouldn't be funny without him. But, overall, who is the person who makes the biggest comeback in the movie? Two words: Stifler's brother.

Here is where the American Pie fan feels right at home with the biggest laugh riots in the movie at the expense of one person: Jim. Jim gets into some hilarious situations you've only seen in your nightmares and while they're too funny to spoil, think three words: getting caught, trumpets, and superglue. Quoting Jim: "How do I get myself into these things?"

But at the end, American Pie 2 does what the original did so well: taking a break from comedy and proving that there is more to life than what a teenager may think, but, like the first one, prevents itself from going mushy by peppering this part with some occasional laughs, until it returns to comedy by the very end, which, in this case, involves Finch and Stifler's Mom, or should I say Finch and Janine?

So, in conclusion, this was pretty much a summary of the movie you must see. Believe me when I say this movie is, at minimum, a full 5 times better than the first. A defininite MUST-SEE!

Review: American Pie 1 was much better than number 2 because in AP2 the scene were already going to be predicted and in number 1 everything you saw was hilariously shocking and i just didnt see that in AP2

Summary: Better than the First
Review: As a Comedy this is much better than the first movie and overall I think it surpassed the first. The problem was that you needed to see American Pie to understand what was going on in the sequel, this movie could not stand by itself, since a lot of the plot was connected to the first. The direction was better than the first and so was the way the movie was put together, I think that was because in the first it was a first time group of directores doing the movie. As usual Stifler steals the show, hopefully Sean William Scott will be able to do other roles that allow him to leave Stifler in the past, this was definately a good finale for the charchter of Stifler. This movie was almost 100 percent based on the 4 guys plus stifler, Tara Reid was in the movie for only a few scenes so don't expect too much from the girls from the first movie. I hope they stop here with the Sequels because this was a real nice way to leave the movie, even though they left it with the possibility of more sequels. I would say this movie is a must see for any fan of American Pie, and any College Student.

B+

Summary: Careful with that Super Glue!!!
Review: Porky's meets Something About Mary and raises the bar (again) for gross-out humor. Hormone ravaged teenagers rent a beach house for one last summer fling before making the journey into adulthood. Poor Jim (Jason Biggs) is still the butt of all jokes, but it's Stifler (Seann William Scott) who steals the show as the man all the women love to hate.

The gags are crude and the plot is a little off the deep-end, but there's enough touching emotion to bring back memories of your own awkward teenage years. I didn't think it could happen, but scenes in this movie top both the bedroom scene and the pie scene in the first movie. If you liked the first, you'll like this one too.

Summary: One of the funniest movies of the year!
Review: I went into this movie with the notion that it would be a typical sequel. In other words, not so good, and only made to capitalize on the success of the first movie. I couldn't have been more wrong! This was by far one of the funniest movies I've seen in years. It had me laughing out loud so often that I almost fell out of my seat!

The movie starts on the last day of college. The action really starts when the crew decide to rent a lake house for the summer. I won't go into detail so as to not spoil the fun when you see it. :-) Stifler(Sean William Scott) comes alive in this movie, virtually stealing the show. Jim is hilarious and he gets himself into a few situations that will have you holding your stomach from laughing.

This movie was much funnier than the first and when it comes out on DVD it will be a must have movie for your collection!
