Summary: Underrated by Critics
Review: Critics who were just trying to kill Slater's career as they do with many actors, actresses and directors rated this a horrible movie. But this movie is so hilarious. The drugged coffee? "I like my coffee cold." The chief's car. The part when Slater answered his front door with a gun pointed at whoever was standing behind and that guy who threw his arms up and fainted! "Why are we doing all this running? Aren't we all going to be in cars?!" And Milla is the definition of sexy.

Summary: Kuffs is a cool and Unedited Universal Studios DVD to own!
Review: I am a big fan of Christian Slater's movies. This Kuffs DVD is Unedited. In the movie (32 minutes and 55 seconds), there is a scene where Kuff's partner is cursing. All the cursing in the scene (except the last two words) are edited with annoying loud beeps. After careful research, I found out that the beeps are supposed to be funny. However, the real purpose of the beeps was to avoid a R rating. I hopes this review helps other people who might think that this DVD is Edited. Kuffs is a cool and Unedited Universal Studios DVD to own!

Summary: surprisingly good
Review: I caught this movie on TV. I figured that it wouldn't be very good, but it was actually pretty good. This is much more a comedy than an action movie. It's pretty silly and something that's not meant to be taken very seriously. That being said, I thought that the movie was really funny. It had more than a few parts that made me laugh out loud. The only thing negative that I have to say is that the movie went a little downhill towards the end. The humor just got a little old after a while. But other than that, it was pretty good. I'd recommend it.

Summary: Slater shines
Review: I really loved this movie, it has every thing that a good movie should have, violence, bad language and most importantly mila jovovich in panties and a tank top. Its story is somewhat typical, but believable. George Kuffs played by Slater is an unemployed bludger who inherits his brothers police precent. [spelling]Gang members etc try to bribe him to look the other way blah blah blah etc etc. I also liked how the movie wasn't all violence it did have many funny parts to it. My advice to anyone is to watch or buy this movie, if you like Christian Slater and a bit of action you're in for a treat 5 STARS

Parts of it are laugh out loud, gut busting funny, while at the same time it builds in an aspect of adventure/suspense. An interesting juxtaposition.Christian Slater's wacky character comes to San Francisco to live with his older brother and ends up taking over his security business. He has a variety of misadventures while trying to learn how to protect the people on his beat and catch the bad guy at the same time. And what a terrific, crazed bad guy. He wears outrageous shirts, including T-shirts with his own picture on them. And he's just one of the many unusual people you'll meet here. From the minute that frozen turkey goes bouncing down the street at the beginning, you'll be hooked. Filmed on location, Kuffs is full of San Francisco atmosphere and local color which make it even more appealing for those of us who like the city. I own this movie in VHS and have watched it over and over. Now I'll buy it in DVD. This film has one of my all time favorite lines: "Where DO you buy your clothes?" An appealing winner!

Summary: good action/comedy from Slater...
Review: I'm not a huge fan of many Christian Slater movies, but this one IMHO was one of his best. Its really hard to find in stores on VHS...and dearly needs to be made on DVD. As for the movie itself, its about a guy who doesn't really have much of a big life except for spending time with his g/f when his brother gets killed by a local badguy, allowing him to possess his brothers precinct (some private cops that police neighborhoods of San Francisco). Pretty good action...but mostly comedy. I like the way Slater addresses the camera occasionally. Hopefully this will come out on DVD soon. Until then, I am forced to scan TV Guide to see if TNT or TBS is playing it. :(

Review: I've been waiting for this DVD to come out for the past 3 years. Every day. Finally it comes home! As for the movie, if you haven't seen it, I think it is one of Christian Slaters best movies to date. You have comedy, action and a few scenes with Milla in underwear and a skin-tight shirt. That in itself is a blessing. Great cast and the style of the movie is just superb.

Summary: Overlooked Action Adventure Comedy
Review: In Kuffs, Chritian Slater has to fill his big brother's shoes after he is murdered. I was surprised when he didn't become as popular as Tom Cruise after this film was released in 1992, but he had a few personal issues during the Nineties that stalled his career. I think he is a better actor with more range and this movie proves it.
