Rating: Summary: So what? Review: Middling political satire about a burned out US Senator who takes a contract out on himself and as a result suddenly feels free to say what he really thinks as he campaigns for reelection. As he does so he begins to feel liberated and regrets the contract. Interesting premise generally falls pretty flat and has an ending that is easily predictable one hour before it happens. The film contains a few funny moments, but unless hearing Warren Beatty rapping over and over is your idea of fun, you can skip this one.
Rating: Summary: So Bad Its Unbelievable Review: As I was watching this movie I kept thinking to myself, "Warren Beatty made this?" Man, he's come a long, long way since "Heaven Can Wait," or "Shampoo." Not only does Senator Bulworth suffer a nervous breakdown, I wonder about Mr. Beatty. This movie sucked. Warren Beatty looked ridiculous rapping. It wasn't even funny. It was embarrassing. I heard Beatty say in one interview that his friends told him this was the best movie he's ever made. Yeah right. That's what they say to his face. Shouldn't black people be insulted that Bulworth suffers a nervous breakdown and THEN wants to hang around them? This movie is so bad you wonder if Beatty didn't make a lousy movie on purpose. If you collect really bad movies, this is one for your collection.
Rating: Summary: Silly, stupid movie. Review: I had high expectations for this movie, but was very dissapointed when I saw it. I understand the point Beatty was trying to make, but he should either make it a very dark comedy, or make it a drama. Instead, he tries to do both, and it comes out corny. Every cliche is used here for every character. A lot could have been done with the movie's premise, but instead it comes out as heavy-handed.

Rating: Summary: The clueless justify need for this movie Review: It's amazing how many people don't get this movie. Those that cry "potty-mouth" or think that socialism and democracy are mutually exclusive are the best justifications for this film's existence.Way to go Warren for not pandering to the greatest common denominator!
Rating: Summary: Obscenity ? Review: Funny how this movie divides your customers! It's either five stars or one. Pity the movie was not properly publicised. Makes me wonder why ...
Rating: Summary: Funniest movie ever made Review: When i went to the video store the other night i had no idea what i wanted to rent.I stumbled upon Bulworth and said what the heck.Im only 14,but i have to say i have never laughed so hard during a movie in my life.Warren Beatty is genius and hilarious. The language gets a little crazy at times, but thats what makes the movie funny.i would give it more than 5 stars if i could.See Bulworth!
Rating: Summary: The bravest American film in several years Review: Warren Beatty hits it out of the park with "Bulworth," a film combining satire, drama and relevant political comment. We should have four or five films a year like this, like in the 70s with "Dog Day Afternoon," "All the President's Men," "Network." Instead, Beatty seems to be the only mainstream filmmaker who cares to comment on the quality of American life. The script is daring and shockingly funny. Beatty's raps are a real risk for a star of his stature--but damned if he doesn't pull them off. I understand that few people in the African American community saw this film when it was released. They should rent or buy it now: Beatty's message will knock their socks off. Actor, Director, Writer, Producer...and now he may run for President! Hey, we've done much worse in the past. Meanwhile, THIS MOVIE RULES!
Rating: Summary: See this Review: In 1999, the simple truth seems amazing. In this film that truth is buried in a much nonsense, but it is in htis movie, as it is almost nowhere eles in popular culture today.
Rating: Summary: This movie ROCKS (make that RAPS)! Review: This is a great movie about what is wrong with american politics and what we should do about it. It is very funny and very honest too. People who think its offensive and false probably believe Clinton tells the truth too. I wish our politicians would try tellng the truth. If you don't get the message of this movie then shoot the messenger, that will fix everything.
