Summary: This movie is (almost) GREAT !!!!
Review: This is a great movie. I have been waiting months for Hollywood to finally release this gem. I am a real fan of this film for many reasons. It took real daring, nerve, and substantial success for an established star to get away with exposing the underside of politics while,at the same time, espousing equality. It is a real tough sell when there are NO sacred cows...in this movie everyone and everything is fair game. I'm sure that Hollywood held it's collective breath when they found out about the content of this movie. Thank God for contracts that allow for final cut authority of a film. Beatty needed that for this. I agree with a former reviewer that the ending is weak. If only Beatty had used an additional fifteen minutes.....what a movie this could have been. As is, it is wonderful. The counterpoint of rap vs. classic movie music scoring does a great job of providing total sensory contradictions. I intend to buy this movie, the sound track, and the script. Colleges will be using this film for analysis in several disciplines for many years to come. Beatty will never win any award or be remembered for this as his greatest acting acheivement. However, he will never be forgotten for daring to produce this multi-layered masterpeice. Warren, I salute you !!!!

Review: This movie is funny fro the first minute until the last minute. I was rolling in the aisles as was the rest of the theater when I saw this. I strongly recomend this movie to any one who hasn't seen it.

Summary: Derivative and antiquated
Review: Watching this movie I couldn't help but be struck by how the look of the film was stolen outright from Oliver Stone's "Natural Born Killers"(who in turn stole "the look" from Richard Kern). The acting was OK, but Beatty's white-guy-slummin'-with-the-niggas storyline is about 600 years old, and the ending was a tad self righteous (nothing like martyrdom to make you look good). On a related note, Beatty has no "skills" rap-wise, and much of the film's humour derives from that fact.

Review: I couldn't even finish watching this movie it was so stupid. I like funny movies, dumb humor, wisecracks, but the re-appearing bum and 2 rappers that start following him just ruined the movie's premise. If there were "negative" stars, this movie would get them

Review: This movie seemed to disappear from theaters before anybody had a chance to see it, which hardly surprises since it is the best political movie made in America in twenty years. Warren Beatty has earned himself cult hero status by putting his money where his mouth is, while also biting a good chunk out of the hand that would feed him. An exhillerating, dead-on critique of our political wasteland, and the media's complicity in promoting a brain-dead electorate. As good as Preston Sturges at his most iconoclastic. It's a crying shame that critics failed to support this film. Mr. Beatty has, evidently, the only set of balls in hollywood. Thank goodness he's rich and radical. Rent the video.

Summary: ABSOLUTELY A RIOT
Review: I saw Bulworth at it's premiere in May 1998 in New York City. It was the funniest movie I have seen in years. Warren Beatty is terrific, he had me laughing so hard I almost cried. If you look beyond the humor you can actual see the actual meaning of this movie. I have been waiting for it to come out on video for months now. It is actually a whole lot of REAL life in this movie, that alot of people never realize is actually even exsist, but it does. It does have a lot of cursing and bad language. Definately not recommend for family or child entertainment, but if you are an adult with open mind and a sense of humor you will most likely enjoy this movie. A GREAT stress releaver.
