Summary: Great comedy for an ALPHA trip!
Review: If you plan to go on an ALPHA trip anywhere, then watching this movie can spare the boredom of looking out the windows. The movie parodies are priceless and Harvey Bilchik and RJ Fletcher are historic movie characters. Watch it today Garbled Hacker!

Summary: I would have put more stars, but they only allow five!
Review: UHF is a great movie to watch with the whole family. I first saw it in the theatre, and have rented it monthly since (not an exageration). Recently, I found it in a video store and bought a copy for my brother and one for myself!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I loved it and now I'm looking for a copy.
Review: The expressive slapstick & pure absurdness that can only be "Weird Al". I have scoured the video and electronics stores and in search for this fun tape. It looks as if others appreciate it as much as I do. Hopefully someone at Amazon.com will notice the popularity and reinquire about this classic. They have a copy sold here ! MrMax

Summary: Genius comedy by Al Yankovich and Michael Richards
Review: UHF is a great movie for those who love the slapstick style of humor. If you like Kramer on Sienfeld, then you will love this movie! He takes it to a whole other level. It is a must see for those comedy fans!

Summary: A really really funny movie! Really!
Review: This was such a funny movie! It always has been, ever since I first watched it a few years ago. Definitely worth buying. It just keeps getting better and better. Right from the beginning to the triumphant end. Great comedy. Beyond slapstick. Genius.

Summary: A brilliant performance by "Weird" Al Yankovic.
Review: UHF: A side-spliting comedy staring "Weird" Al and Michael Richards. The story is as follows: George Numan and pal Bob lose their job at BIG EDNA'S Burger World. Meanwhile George's uncle Harvey wins UHF channel 62. Now George and Bob must run the station, before total bankruptcy.

Summary: An excellent comedy vehicle for Weird Al.
Review: The plot is simple: Guy has minimum wage job. Guy loses minimum wage job. Guy takes over TV station. The rest is comedy history. Many Weird Al video parodies. If you like Al, you'll like this; if you don't you won't.

Summary: This movie rocks!
Review: Oh my, I've probably watched this movie 100's of times, and it's still awesome! If you have a VCR and a pulse, than it's neccesary that you buy this!

Summary: HILARIOUS! ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES IN THE WORLD!
Review: UHF was 1 of the funniest movies I have ever seen in my life. The plot goes that Weird Al gets a TV station from his uncle and struggles to make it last, when suddenly the station janitor is offered a job by Al, who is tired of the shows. He instantly becomes a success and the foundation of the station. Later, a rival TV producer trys to buy out their station with interesting results. Everybody should see it! It's the best!

Summary: Totally wacky and absolutely hilarious
Review: Okay. I'll admit it. UHF is one of my favorite movies. And I'm not ashamed, either. After all, it's a product of Weird Al Yankovic, who's famous for his strange parodies of popular songs-like "Eat It" or "Amish Paradise" or "Like a Surgeon" or "I Love Rocky Road." In other words, it's totally wacky and absolutely hilarious.

Weird Al plays George Newman, a guy whose overactive imagination has lost him-and his friend, Bob (David Bowe)-yet another job. When his uncle wins a nearly bankrupt UHF station (remember UHF?) in a poker game, he gives the studio to George. Determined to make this job work, George and Bob-with the help of receptionist/reporter Pamela Finklestein (Fran Drescher) and janitor Stanley Spadowski (Michael Richards)-create exciting shows that has everyone in town watching. But when R.J. Fletcher (Kevin McCarthy), the head of the local network affiliate, finds out, he decides to do everything in his power to shut George down and turn U-62 into a parking lot.

Words cannot even begin to describe the hilarity of this movie. On a recent trip, I popped UHF into my laptop's DVD player on the plane, and I was pretty much in tears for the entire hour and a half. Michael Richards alone makes the movie worth watching (repeatedly). And while the movie does have a few slow parts, it's necessary-it gives you time to recover before the side-splitting laughter begins once again. If you're a fan of Michael Richards, off-the-wall comedies, and/or Weird Al, this is a must-see.
