Summary: What a waste
Review: I am so thankful that I rented this movie instead of buying it. This movie was tasteless, the plot was pointless, to sum it up it was definately a waste of time and money. Hollywood could have done better.

Summary: Drop Dead Insulting.....only if you want it to be.
Review: This movie was a funny dark comedy. It was very sarcastic, putting a mock twist on beauty pagents. You can get offended by this movie VERY EASILY if you are a small town southern person, or a serious christian, mentally retarded, or a beauty pagent queen yourself. I liked it. It's a good movie for people with good humor! I liked the charecters in it. All the actors had very very good accents. Denise Richards was a crackup when she did her talent! I never knew someone who could be in a movie like Wild Things could be that funny! Kristen Dunst was okay, but she's always that way. As for Alley, i swear, she HAS to learn when to say no, although she did play the part very well, i thought it was beneath her. It was a good movie good for a good laugh.

Summary: Total Waste Of Time and Money
Review: The language was terrible....the plot was a joke and I was totally dissapointed in Kirstie Alley. She has always been one of my favorites. I should have rented this first....I wasted my money on the DVD. If you must, rent this first..why does Hollywood think the "f" word must be in every movie. Very few movies anymore do not have the "f" word. They also use the Lord's name in vain which is AWFUL and UNNECESSARY.

Summary: Brilliantly Cynical work...
Review: From its beginning in the sleepy Minnesotan town of St. Rose, Minn., Drop Dead Gorgeous is an utter hoot. Kirstie Alley and Denise Richards are luminous as the conniving, evil mother and daughter who are committed to winning the town's beauty pageant at all costs, even blowing up one of the contestants on their tractor!Kirsten Dunst is the perfect foil to the antagonists, and MadTV's Will Sasso makes a hilarious turn as the town "Retard." In leser taste, but still amusing is the Japanese-American family that has adopted a contestant to better assimilate into the native culture in spite of the protests by their own japanese daughter.Kirsten Dunst's trailer trash upbringing is another amusingspot, s all te characters seem to converge on a point of pure insanity toward the end.Look for Kirstie Alley's classic "Swan" Monologue at the end of the film, as well as the SWAT team ending!A zany film that got far less attention than it should have last summer, it is the superior faux-documentary. Blair Who?

Summary: I crown this the Best Comedy of the 1999!
Review: To view the marketing of this movie, you would think it was a cute, slapstick, teeney-bopper type comedy. Nothing could be further from the truth. It ingeniously captures stereotypes and exaggerates them for a bust-your-gut time. Throughout the movie you find yourself laughing when you know you shouldn't be in this politically correct world.

If you liked "There's Something About Mary," you will love this movie. It is all of the laughs without the language or sexual content. Highly recommended!

Summary: The beauty-pageant from hell!
Review: Complete with Minnesota accents and characters, this little flick packs a powder keg of laughs. Kirstie Alley chunks around as a contestant's mom and one of the pageant's organizers, Ellen Barkin's hand melds with a beer can, and ditzy Denise Richards can't kill everyone fast enough in a role she was born to play. All this plus so much more weird humor give you a hell-bent version of what goes on behind the scenes at a city-sponsored beauty contest. I'm sure some of this stuff has happened somehere in the USA. Glad I saw it!

Summary: Not What I expected!
Review: I have to candid about the movie. It wasn't as good as I thought is would be. In the previews they said that it was a good movie and then I went and rented it and I thought that it could of been much better. I thought that the movie was actually pretty asinine. If people thought it was funny I'd have to say they were wrong. Its was a futile movie; I thought it was hopeless and without effect.

Summary: Very Funny
Review: I loved this movie. I guees I saw it back when it first came out in movie theaters. I went with a couple of my friends and they all loved it to. I think that it had an excellent cast everyone fit their part well. I really dont think guys would like it though but I might be wrong because all the guys I have talked to about didnt think it was any good but I would definetely recommend it.

Summary: EXTREMELY FUNNY!
Review: I will admit i didn't want to see this movie, my husband picked this one at the video store, but i was very pleasantly suprised! it was so funny! and in a very dark perverse way which is my favorite kind of humor. If you liked HEATHERS, you will like DDG. it is a great treat! i can't stand denise richards, but i still enjoyed this movie as it had some really funny performances by alison janney and ellen barkin.

Summary: DROP DEAD FUNNY
Review: This movie is really funny. My fave part is when the last year's princess is anorexic and she's in a wheel chair and this lady has to hold on the wheel chair and dances to a song. This isn't a great film, but it's worth watching once.
