Summary: The best Eddie Murphy movie ever!
Review: This is probablly on of my top ten favorite movies. So glad to see it on DVD. If you haven't seen this movie you should throw cold water on your face and buy it right away. You will not be disapointed. Eddie is dynamic with the transformation of his character, as well as Dan Akroyd's. And Ophellia's BIG breats top of this movie.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Another CLASSIC from Murphy and Akroyd!
Review: This is another timeless classic from the early 80's that had so much comedy and probably was one of the best Eddie Murphy films ever made. This DVD is wonderful and can I say, "About time!" No movie outline is needed here. If there is anyone who has never seen this movie and is finding it under DVD.. BUY IT! It's full of laughs!

Summary: Great Movie, lousy release --
Review: It appears that Paramount is going to go through the whole tired process of releasing this DVD with no extras only to rerelase it with extras AFTER half the movie going public has purchased the diet version. Hey Paramount, this game is becoming tiresome.

Summary: Waited in vein for this DVD. Not one extra! Disappointed!
Review: FANTASTIC movie. Since DVD was born this was one of those movies I waited and craved for. Then when the 2 disc spectacular dvds starting appearing I had my fingers crossed that this would be one. BUT of course not its Paramount. There are extras for this DVD. Memories of a Making of on TV. It wouldn't hurt to get a trailer on now would it! We know John Landis aint doing much nowadays so he could've done a commentary.

I'll bite my lip and buy this bog-standard vesion and then hope in a few more years a proper special edition comes out it's only what the film deserves!

Summary: Great movie, typical Paramount dvd.
Review: If you want a great movie this is your dvd. If you want a trailer, a commentary, behind the scenes documentary, making of... basically anything that you are used to getting on a dvd it's not. This is bare bones dvd. At least Buena Vista (Disney) prices their movies approriately when they give you a bare bones release. Spaced Invaders was under $10. Paramount charges premium Special Edition prices for nothing but the movie. For shame.

Summary: An experiment done in bad taste- with hilarious results!
Review: Vintage Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd were a pair. Billy Ray Valentine is street hustler who becomes a commodities broker while Winthorpe Louis III is snobbish white commodities broker becomes a tormented wretched hobo. The guys conducting this dastardly experiment are Randolph and Mortimer Duke (the late actors Ralph Bellamy and Don Ameche). Every actor in this film besides Eddie and Dan had something comical to contribute to the film. The film touches on classism tinged with racism, and the lessons people must learn from walking in each other's shoes for a minute. Aside from Eddie's gut-wrenching funny antics and jokes, Dan Aykroyd was the central focus. Winthorpe Louis III is rich man who had learned what it was like to be less fortunate and underpriviledged. His "life" was ruined! He got kicked out of the social club, his girlfriend dropped him for another rich stiff, and another man is wearing his clothes-and taken his house as well his job! He has a chance to get it back-through Jamie Lee Curtis. He later falls in love and learns who his real friends are in this dog-eat-dog world! This is a timeless comic classic!

Summary: Fantastic movie ... but it deserves special DVD features!
Review: The movie gets the maximum number of stars! Great story, acting, humor (OK, all but the incongruous gorilla scene--the Three Stooges and others of b&w cinema did enough fake-looking gorilla humor), script, message, cast (e.g., Dan Aykroyd; Eddie Murphy; Jamie Lee Curtis, who displays more than just her terrific acting and comedic talents--thank you, Jamie!).

At least one documentary on the movie was already produced. It should be put on the DVD. Any other special DVD features they can dig up should also be added (deleted scenes, audio commentaries, cast and crew info, ...). This is one of my favorite movies, and it deserves more than minimal treatment!

Summary: Hilarious!
Review: I miss the old school Eddie Murphy! This movie is just SO hilarious! A must for everyone!

Summary: The Best Movie Finally Comes Out On DVD

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good Movie.
Review: This is a good movie starring Eddie Murphy and Dan Akroyd. The movie is about two pwerfull brokers switching the lives of a poor person played by Eddie Murphy and a rich person played by Dan Akroyd. However, seeing this movie so many times that I know every joke and how it ends. The DVD doesn't look impressive. It looks like their is no special features.
