Summary: Not as NUTTY as the FIRST film
Review: Nutty Professor II sounds like it should be good, after all its subtitled THE KLUMPS. THe Klump's dinner scene in the first movie was classic.

This movie had many more KLUMP scenes, but it lacked something...a great storyline. While the first one had a good story of a FAT professor trying to get skinny, but seeing that it's what is INSIDE that counts not the pounds...THIS MOVIE shoves you into a romance between SHERMAN and Janet JACKSON.

The story revolves on their romance and how it is being ruined by BUDDY LOVE's influence INSIDE SHERMAN. HE tries to EXTRACT BUDDY out of him and then the plot begins.

While EDDIE MURPHY DOES A SUPERB job as about 10 characters in this movie and while it does have some VERY FUNNY SCENES WITH THE KLUMPS....it lacks what the first one did---HEART. I give it 3 stars just for the comedy (don't expect to be crying--only laughing)

Summary: Hilarious
Review: Funny, funny, funny!!!! This is a must-buy movie. The Klumps II is so hilarious that you don't want to blink, because you might miss something good.

It was a creative movie that everyone, from kids to adults, can enjoy, and hopefully they will come out with Klumps III.

Go buy it today and get ready to laugh until you're cheeks hurt!!!

Summary: Really surprising
Review: I was really surprised at how good Janet Jackson was in this film. Essentially a film where she has to sit next to Eddie Murphy and play not only the straight man but be overwhelmed by his level of comedic versatility. I am hoping that Janet continues acting because she has enough strength as an actress to stay apparent and at the same time disappear into her character in this role several times.
A really funny movie with two talented actors.
