Rating: Summary: Mediocre Review: People maybe shouldn't criticize Anne Heche for her personal life, but she DOES deserve criticism for her mediocre acting ability and her lack of charisma or charm. This was a terrible and tragic mismatch of Ford and Heche. By no stretch of the imagination is she "lead actress" material for a movie like this -- for which I fault the producers/director and not Heche.Ford, of course, is excellent. The movie has an entertaining storyline and great scenery/photography. But for Heche, this movie would have been a winner.
Rating: Summary: Cute romantic comedy yarn. Chicken soup for a rainy day. Review: This movie is not meant to be taken seriously. View it with your brain switched off on a Friday night or on a dreary day. It has a mish-mash of elements: adventure, romance, comedy, pirates, waterfall, you get the picture. What's missing is a plausible chemistry between Ford and Heche. Its labored, but what do you expect from such a disparity in their ages! The digital transfer is excellent and the DVD brings out the vibrant colors of the South Sea islands.
Rating: Summary: Horrible Review: How could Harrison Ford embarrass himself by being in such a worthless flick. The movie was implausible and meaningless. Anyone who liked this movie should get a life. It was not clever, interesting, or humorous.
Rating: Summary: Six Days Seven Nights Review: "Six Days Seven Nights" I like Harrison Ford, but the acting needs work. I like aviation romances. I enjoyed the aviation scenes, being an aircraft mechanic. I would recommend it to other viewers.
Rating: Summary: A fairly good but puzzling story. Review: The plot of this movie may be good and the choice of actors great, but I found I had a lot of questions. The movie could have been more realistic and explained. For example, Anne's charecter had lipstick and eye makeup the whole time she was shipwrecked. Where did the pirates come from? How did gold influence them? The love between the charecters was abruptly started. Those are just a few of my questions.
Rating: Summary: Adventure - Comedy - and a bit of Romance Review: I never saw such a great combinance, adventure, comedy, and a bit of romance. Even better than Indiana Jones. A great movie/book to watch/read more than once; for all kinds of people except pirates!!!
Rating: Summary: A very fun, lighthearted movie! Review: Certainly not academy award winning, but very fun and enjoyable. The scenery and photography is stunning, especially on DVD. Anne was cute and humerous, and naturally Harrison is always a winner.
Rating: Summary: I don't regret seeing it Review: I would say this is a fine movie to watch while you're falling asleep. The plot was blunt and required no real ability to think. I was impressed by the beautiful scenery and got a cheap laugh at the character's facial expressions.. I questioned Robin's ability to remain so beautiful and hairless while spending the better part of a week in the wilderness. I love Harrison Ford but this wasn't one of his films to brag about. This movie was simply entertaining if not captivating.
Rating: Summary: Another outstanding HF movie Review: What a great movie! Of course, my husband and I think HF is the greatest thing since sliced bread (an old joke for you youngsters), but we watch one of his movies each night, and this is one of our favorites. We couldn't wait for it to become available to buy (we got tired of renting it). The chemistry between those two really made this a great movie. This is another example of the gift Harrison Ford has of being able to play any part in any movie! He can be funny, serious, tough, loving, you name it. There are very few actors around today that can do that. What a MAN!
Rating: Summary: Why... Review: The movie would have been better if the black headed chick would have gotting totally naked....
