Summary: Doom Generation meets Threesome!
Review: Gregg Araki has done it again! Spledid, opens up the true meaning of love. This movie shows how corny and powerful the heart can be, especially when threes a company! If you love Araki, you will laugh, cry, moan and rave about this movie!

Summary: Absolutely appealing and suprisingly hip.
Review: Gregg Araki has made a name for himself in the darker and more obscure side of film. Though this film has flourishes of the same Araki we have come to know (threesomes and homosexuality) this title is suprisingly hip and even refreshing. Being canadian, I have come to like the talents of the few actors hailing from my country. Kathleen Robertson fills a role that is nothing short of ravishing and adorable. It's much different from the sarcastic and barbed character she played in Nowhere (Lucifer). She is by far the heart and soul of this delightful and sexy comedy. Watching this movie, to me, was like drinking a strawberry milkshake in every sense. The storyline was, as some have put, a more modern version of "Three's Company" wich is also made mention of at one point in the movie. The plot takes many unique turns and the ending is even more of a delightful suprise. The soundtrack to this movie is excellent as Gregg once again proves his talent in musical selection as well as filmaking. Like in Nowhere, if you follow the closing credits through for a bit you'll be treated to another half a minute or so of antics from the characters. In summary this movie is a 3/4 or so change from the Araki we have come to know and love, but definitely another great movie success. (For the record.....Ms Kathleen Robertson, great job! Love ya lots!)

Summary: Good, but not Araki's best...
Review: I know that this movie is not in the same vein as The Doom Generation or Nowhere...but I like those alot better. Splendor was good, I just really didn't like Kathleen Robertson's character in this film. I mean, Gregg Araki definately has alot of talent...but I just didn't think it was as good as he could have made it. I wasn't expecting anything from the afore mentioned films. Don't get me wrong...I liked this movie, I was just hoping for something just a tad different. Oh well, it was still a damn good movie.

Summary: Fun, cute, and very entertaining
Review: I loved this movie. For once the portrayal of a menage a trois was funny. The actors were all really good, and the plot twisted enough to make the movie really good.I definitely recomment this movie to anyone in the mood for a romantic comedy!!!

Summary: Cute.
Review: I really got off watching this video. The movie starts with the delicate image of a ménage a trios in full heated action as seen through the discerning eye of a colorized lens. HitchCOCK, movie over. If there was only a virtual reality type deal where I could download myself into the movie and become one of the characters - I'd like to become the woman, because she's getting all the action. She's dating two guys. How did this arrangement come about, you ask, for her to be dating two guys? Well, that's just what the first act of the movie is about. There are a lot of meet cutes, as Roger Ebert calls it. Then a third party comes into view, a Hollywood type, who threatens to steal our sweet little princess away. The third act is whether she will go with the two dudes, or Mr. Third. There are lots of colors in this film, lots of sweet sight cinematography and sets, hunky actors, cute storyline, cute action, cute dialog... This movie is a big kissable teddy bear. Wrap your arms around it and enjoy. PS This is a good date movie, good for foreplay.

Review: I really loved this movie. While I would never live the lifestyle these people do I really wanted their relationships to work out. The three of them look very good together and the moments, where they are getting along, are very sweet. I recommend this movie.

Summary: Love Araki, Hate this movie.
Review: I too must echo the sentiment expressed earlier in these reviews. The female lead is the most selfish, unsympathetic character I believe I've EVER seen in a movie. She uses and abuses EVERY man that she comes across. Forcing each adoring suitor to abide by her wants and desires if they wish to have any sort of relationship with her. I simply cannot bring myself to feel any shred of pity for Robertson's character as she jumps from one emotional freak out to the next. Dragging her lovers unwillingly along for the ride and playing them off of one another to get what she wants out of each relationship (guy 1 = sex, guy 2 = emotional/Intellectual support, guy 3 = MONEY).I will simply ask this question: If the female lead was replaced by a MALE lead, who treated WOMEN in the same way that Kathleen Robertson's character does to the three men "in her life", do you think that this movie would still be "crazy and kooky fun"? I, personally, don't think so. I think that you can see where I'm going with this. Go rent Doomed Generation, Nowhere or Totally... if you want a real taste of Araki.

Summary: Watchable, to say the least
Review: My friend and I rented this movie at the last minute, hoping for something different. Well, it isn't different. A chick in love with two guys... wow, how original. I didn't care at all about the characters or the lame story. It is watchable and somewhat amusing, but that's about it.
