Rating: Summary: A movie for people who "get it" Review: This movie, may not be perfect, but it comes very close. I loved it from the first time that I saw it and I've shared it with many friends and family since. I've observed that the friends with depth to their soul - the abilty to see not only the world around them, but the possibilities that life offers, and yet we so rarely achieve - simply adore this movie. In short they "get it." On the other hand those who (and don't get me wrong, they're still my friends) see and live life on the surface, are bored, and dismiss this movie as "weird," or "slow." If you're wondering what potential there is for that special someone in your life, show them this movie...
Rating: Summary: Barely Breathing Review: This music comes from one of the most beautiful love stories in years. It left me barely breathing. Each piece adds to the feel of the film and draws you further in. For those who can not currently purchase this cinematic gem, the music will have to do. And it does very nicely.
Rating: Summary: Still Breathing Review: This music, in all its variety and beauty, spins a dream and weaves a web of emotion just as the movie did . . . Rarely has music been such an integral part of a love story--not mere background or commentary, but a part of the story and the characters. For example, when Roz makes her "leap of faith," her decision is internal and about faith and feeling and hope, and thus cannot be expressed in words--it is shown in music--and that music is one of the loveliest and most moving passages I've ever heard. When music is this magical and expressive, words will not do. You must hear this.
Rating: Summary: Believe in True Love? Review: Very few couples are lucky enough to find their one true love. If you have, this movie will touch home. If not, get a glimpse of what can be, if you stay still long enough to see it. A wonderful performance in cameo role by Celeste Holm.
