Review: I consider myself lucky to be one of the few who has seen this in a real movie theater. It played at the 1998 San Diego World Film Festival. What a gem, I'm so glad I saw it!

I wish it would have had more of a release, because it is a great movie with fine performances and the script worked. If you get a chance to see this in a theater in art house somewhere, I would highly recommend it.

Oh yeah, Gretchen Mol is hot! :-)

Summary: A Diamond in the Ruff!
Review: I heard about this unique film from my best friend, and was a little weary, at first, because I had never heard about it. I am so thankful that she twisted my arm, though, because since I saw it I have rented it three times, and shown it to as many people as possible. My boyfriend watched it with me and to my surprise, loved it! He's not one to jump at the chance to watch "chic flics" so I didn't think he would like this romantic comedy. I think it was the quick humor that flowed through the entire movie that set it aside from all others. I can not understand why it was never publicised, but I'm kinda glad it wasn't. It's just our little secret to spread!

Review: I lucked into this film on Cinemax late night, part of their Vangaurd series. Expecting the usual romantic comedy dribble I was amazed to find this movie to be 100% enjoyable and a refreshing break from the norm. A well crafted script, characters with depth, plots, themes, the whole nine yards. Looks like someone finally figured out how to create a thoroughly enthralling movie. I only wish more were like it. You could watch it again and again and it would never lose its magical touch and feel good power. A definite must buy soon as the price drops some. Perhaps the romantic comedy is not dead.......

Review: I saw the movie during a flight from Germany to the USA and as I hadn't heard about the movie at all. So it was a wonderful surprise to see at last a romantic movie that isn't silly at all.

Review: This was the best movie I've ever seen. I rented it only because I thought it looked interesting and I ended up watching it over and over, renting it again and again. You get so involved with it. You'll be talking to the characters as if they can hear you, laughing with them and ingaging in their activities. The plot is unique and, at times, crazy, but if you like romantic comidies, you'll love Music From Another Room.

Review: "Music From Another Room" was a charming film which delighted me thoroughly when I saw at the cinema in November. I enjoyed the predictable plot, and the gorgeous cast, and was so happy when I heard Savage Garden's beautiful song "Truly Madly Deeply" played as, basically, the theme song. Thoroughly recommended.
