Review: I have to say besides Selena this movie is great I love it and she is so funny. I love her in this movie very much and I would watch it over again and again because over time it will become a classic I know it will. It Jennifer here people I just think she needs to make more movies like this and she will always get a five from me.

Summary: anybody know????
Review: Can anybody fanthom a guess as to why Ralph Fiennes would be involved with this drivel. After seeing him in End of the Affair, English Patient and Sunshine....I haven't a clue

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Terrible - ZERO stars
Review: Sorry, but this is not romantic it is utter drivel. If it was escapist it would at least be something one could dream of, and you just can't relate in any way at all, not even in your dreams.
The professional actors have obviously thought there were big buck to have been made or they would never have beem party to this tripe. It's dire, a complete waste of money; although
to be fair to J-Lo this is by far her worst film. I hired it because the others were so much better, and really this film prooves they are.

Summary: SO BORING
Review: I HATED IT SO MUCH AND ALL THE ACTORS SUCKED OF COURSE J-BLOW CANT ACT ANYWAY

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Oh Please!
Review: I realize that you can't take movies too seriously. Most of them don't make too much sense when you really think about it. You see a character do something and think, "I would never do that." That's fine. But this movie has the stupidest plot ever. I am all for the Cinderella thing but geez, at least make it somewhat believable! A politician falls in love with a woman he meets in the hotel, finds out she's the freakin' housekeeper and then by the end of the movie realizes it doesn't matter because he's in love with her and then...then goes on to have a successful political career! How in the hell am I supposed to believe that? At least Pretty Woman was a little more believable! Maybe if she were at the concierge or management I could maybe believe it. But a housekeeper? Don't think so. And anyway that guy was a republican...that's how I know I can't believe it!

Summary: Excellent Romantic Comedy
Review: Very rarely does Hollywood produce such great romantic comedies. Maid In Manhattan is a very pleasant surprise. Jennifer Lopez as usual is exceptional in the lead role. She really shines in these types of roles. Ralph Fiennes also does a great performance. You can feel the strong chemistry between the two actors. And, I hope to see more of the adorable, intelligent child actor. This movie is highly recommended for those who enjoy laughter, positive energy, and a splash of romance.

Summary: Absolutely Horrible
Review: I hated this terrible movie. There was no plot, no character development and why did Ralph Fiennes agree to act in such an atrocious motion picture? Surely he doesn't need the money. So much of PRETTY WOMAN has been unoriginally hackneyed; only this time it's a maid (in a 5 star hotel in Manhattan) who tries on a socialite's $5,000 outfit (from one of the rooms she cleans). She and her son then take a walk (with a future senator--Fiennes as Chris Marshall) to the zoo and the two adults fall madly in love with each other. I don't need to tell you what happens next although you can guess. Ironically, at the end there is a press conference aka NOTTINGHILL where the adorable Hugh Grant--I'm sorry, I mean the maid's son, questions Marshall about forgiving his mother. Even if you like the main characters (I'm actually a big fan of Fiennes) you will not like this film. Plain and simple, this movie stinks and I am warning you: Do not waste your time with this mindless drivel!

Summary: A 2.5 really...
Review: A 2.5 for the storyline. It was predictable but cute. I wouldnt buy it but I would watch it just to see what its like. Kinda boring because this story has been played so many times. But its alright.

Overall: If your bored -watch it but just DON'T buy it (in my opinion anyway)

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Old fashioned story but entertaining, and warm
Review: How can one expect something very new and surprising from a very old story of how a maid and a senator-to-be get together! With little expectation, the movie did give me some fun. The director did make it quite smoonth, relatively trustworthy and above average entertaining. The good casting and the intelligent script did help. The little boy, the actress's (a single mother) son in the movie, did cover some of the holes in the story and add considerable warmth and shine to the movie as a whole, especially the ending. If you are not going to buy it, it's still a very good choice in a video rental shop for a light Friday night.

p.s. I like the following script by Lionel, the Butler supervisor of Jennifer Lopez the most. "To serve people takes dignity and intelligence. But remember, they're only people with money. Although we serve them, we are not their servants. What we do does not define who we are. What defines us is how we rise after falling."
