Review: Happy Gilmore is Adam Sandler's best movie. There is nothing but humor the whole movie. From the Bob Barker fight, to the death of 'Chubbs' the movie has humor written all over it. Happy, who is a true golfer, simply will not admit it. He wants to play HOCKEY! But, he is terrible. After the IRS take away his grandmothers house, he plays on golf tours to make enough money to get it back. He has the biggest temper that anyone could ever ever have. This even gets him temporarily kicked off the tour, in which he goes to work for Subway. All in all, probably one of the best comedys that there is!

Review: What I loved about this movie was the ACTING. It works because Adam Sandler is brllliantly "real" at all times, even though he plays a silly character in silly situations. His commitment to the role is breathtaking. Somehow you really believe this character would punch out his caddy, go beserk on national television, have a heated argument with a golfball, and threaten a plastic clown face with death! Yet at the same time, the character has an innocence and guilelessness that allows us to forgive him his excentricities. He's just an Everyman who is out of his element, trying to find his way. If he causes tumult and chaos in the area around him, it is forgivable because he is only doing what he has been trained to do, for all of his previous life. "Happy" remains a likeable character even while he is punching out Bob Barker! That is the genius of this movie.People might tell you the plot of this movie, and all the funny skits that are in this movie, but you still might not get it. I don't think I would have "gotten it" just by hearing a recounting of the plot. The script is funny, and it's a good vehicle, but the reason I have watched this movie over and over again is because Adam Sandler is SUCH a good actor. He makes you BELIEVE. Comedians never get enough credit for this, but in a movie like this one, which is really a pretty bizarre situation, it is his ability to take us into a mode of suspended reality that makes the movie work: he makes the incredible plausible. Bravo!

Review: This is a really funny movie. Happy Gilmore is a guy who wants to pay off a debt so his Granny can keep her house. He is a really talented golfer, but he doesn't know how talented he is, until he has the help of a professional golfer, who is later killed, while trying to teach Happy to putt. Then Happy goes on to win a golf tournament, beating all the pros, with some very funny happenings on the way! Adam Sandler is perfect for the part of Gilmore, which he plays to perfection. This is a great movie and well worth having on video at home.

Review: Happy Gilmore, the critically acclaimed 'laugh-riot' lives up to it's name. Happy Gilmore, Sandler, is the Amature golfer who can bust the....well you know what outta golf balls. His grandma's house is being impounded and the only way he can save the house is to get together enough money to pay off the dept owed, but this movie is so funny you'll forget it has a story line!

Review: Adam Sandler and golf? The first thing I think of is there is no way thats gonna work! But, I am proven wrong. I have learned that he can take any simple subject and turn it into a two-hour joke. I'm not going to say it was his best movie but it was sure funny! I'd definitly watch it again!
