Review: Happy Gilmore is one of the funniest movies ever made! This is Adam Sandler at this best; forget about 'The Water Boy' or 'The Wedding Singer' (Even although they are great movies) this is the best. Sandler plays a hockey player who becomes a golf player with comic results. Shooter McGavin (played by Christopher McDonald) is incredibly funny and adds to the great comic element of this movie. If you like comedies you MUST buy this DVD, its incredible. I've watched this film about twenty times now, and it still makes me laugh, a true classic from Sandler and company.

Review: "Yeah it is about time, I just couldn't get the ball in the hole! I WANTED to, but I just couldn't do it!" If even that quote makes you laugh, you will scream with laughter when you watch the movie it came from: Happy Gilmore. What I like best about this movie is that it has the kind of humor any idiot can laugh at, just like disco is the kind of music any idiot can dance to. Even if you hate Adam Sandler, or you consider him as "Adam WHO?" you are guaranteed to laugh even once. And if you know him and love him from classics such as Billy Madison, or Airheads, you will laugh even harder. And the laughs start right from the beginning, so you won't waste any time not laughing, and you won't stop laughing until the very end. This movie is screamingly funny, trust me on that. But if you're the kind who thinks a comedy just isn't a comedy without heart, this is also the movie for you. This movie has many heart-felt elements, like the whole reason Happy Gilmore makes the big switch from no-money hockey to big-money golf; he needs to buy his grandmother's house (that was seized by the IRS) back that his grandfather built with his bare hands. And along the way, a romance blooms between Happy and Virginia Bennett, P.R Director for Happy's tour, that is literally a lifeline for Happy's career. And also, Happy's miracle man Chubbs, who got him started in the golf profession and never looked back, dies in the movie after falling out an apartment window. But those emotional sequences are peppered with occasional laughs to keep you from going nuts. Then, it wastes no time going back to the classic all-out humor. So, in short, if you are crazy about comedy and love to laugh, see Happy Gilmore. If you're the type that believes not all comedies have to be so comedy-like, see Happy Gilmore. See this movie, you will not regret it!

Summary: Can't Help But Laugh
Review: My dad laughed at this movie. My brother rewound portions to rewatch them they were so funny. The movie is funny and positive and it's all thanks to Sandler. He's just genuinely likeable. The movie is also a subway add but who cares. Maybe i like it because it reminds me of watching my brother miniature golf, I don't know. For what it sets out to do, it's great.

Review: This one was the reason i ve started a DVD collection...I am Turkish but i am a huge Adam Sandler fan i ve got all his movies (except Wedding Singer my heart still aches he did this one....) This one is a perfect occasion to start to see Sandler movies if you've seen Waterboy and didnt see this one u missed the best Sandler movie ever...
