Summary: Typical but entertaining.
Review: It is so rarely that an interesting, funny, for-all-ages romantic comedy comes along. Is The Wedding Planner any different from all those when-the-couple-start-out-hating-each-other-but-then-fall-in-love routined films? Not at all. However, this movie two attractive leads and enough gags (especially the scene were J-Lo's horse bolts through a forest) to entertain any willing audience. The film is pretty unrealistic even if it's premise is quite intriguing. It falls through so many traps and gets itself caught, and the film is over-long. Jennifer Lopez doesn't act too well in this film either, but Matthew McCoughaney is fantastic, and contributes a lot to the movie. All in all, its floppy fun that is bound to get a good audience, mostly for its attractive couple or the money-making premise.

Summary: A cute and touching movie
Review: I would never have seen this movie except for the fact that my daughter filmed a few scenes with Matthew McConaughey and Kevin Pollak and I wanted to see if any of her scenes actually made it to the film. Unfortunately, the main scene ended up on the cutting room floor and she is in a very brief scene at the beginning of the movie. But with that said, I was really surprised at the movie as I really didn't expect it to be good and cute but it was. It's not an academy award type movie but it's a good movie to watch. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone. The chemistry between Lopez and McConaughey was very good. However, I was very disappointed in the fact that Kevin Pollack was barely in the movie. He is a very talented actor.

Summary: Unjustified offense to the Italian Culture
Review: The movie is extremely simple and silly. We find this movie an unjustified offense against the Italian people. It is ridiculous to describe Italians with the image of a person rough, without style, with no manner....who is not able to eat pasta! Come on....Italy, among other things, is well known for the elegance, style, and good manners of the people and for high quality fashion & food... The movie does not represent at all the reality of Italy...and you would know this if you knew Italy!. In our opinion, this is pretty unfair and offensive.

Summary: A Nice Little Romantic Comedy
Review: Jennifer Lopez is a famous wedding cordinator who is a little off center in the love section of her life. Enter the charming Matthew McConaughey, who in turns saves her life from an oncoming trash can when Lopez gets her foot stuck in one of those pesky steam ventalators. This movie is one of the few decent romantic comedies out there. It is funny and the actors actually seemed to have a chemistry going on in the movie, this aspect really helped the movie flow. I would give it a look see. Think about watching it with someone special.

THIS AND ONLY ONE MORE MOVIE THE MEXICAN AN UNDERRATED INDIE FILM WERE BEST OF THIS YEAR SO FAR. RENT THIS OR BUY THIS WHICH I AM GOING TO DO WHEN IT COMES OUT ON DVD AND VHS.

Review: I just thought this film was the best romantic comedy I've seen in some time, Matthew and Jennifer just click from the very beginning and keep you enthrauled til the end. He takes your breath away and she just sparkles, a must see for any romance addict like myself.

Summary: Light and Sweet, A Perfect Diversion
Review: I went to see this movie on a day when it was exactly what I was looking for: light, spirited, and amusing. And it surprised me by being better than I thought it would be. The trailer: beautiful but busy and single wedding planner Mary (Lopez) meets a handsome doctor (McConaughey) who turns out to be the groom-to-be for the wedding she's planning. The plot I was expecting: mayhem ensues because her career was relying on her pulling off this wedding; "My Best Friend's Wedding"-ish slapstick comedy follows. The actual story is much sweeter. The humor is understated, not slapstick. The fact that her partnership hangs on her pulling off the wedding barely enters into the story, and not at all into whether she might fall for Steve, which she seems to realize is simply a bad idea all around. Her father arranges her marriage to a childhood acquiantance, and we hear about the benefits and drawbacks of growing to love your spouse after marriage. We see sweetness and the sad face of unrequited love in the form of Massimo, the Italian suitor. And I have a soft spot for any movie where the heroine is a Scrabble player. The chemistry between Lopez and McConaughey isn't really very snappy, but overall they pulled off a movie that was a pleasant way to spend an afternoon. One question remains: how and when can I go watch old movies projected on the side of a building in the park?

Review: I onkly saw this causz of J lo herself!! the greatzest actress in the world!! and i was really disappoinyed. the movie is really stupid. i didn;'t like the wayz that the too lead people acted together. and i thought that the movie was two p[redouictable! stawy away!!....peace

Review: I thought the Wedding Planner was a great romantic movie! One of the best I have seen. However, it is a chick flick all the way. It is a romantic comedy about weddings, so the estrogen content is high. Matthew M. is awesome and cute in this movie and the whole thing works. There are also several funny moments. Loved it!

Review: This was a great movie! I couldn't believe out of all the reviews only a few people had anything nice to say about it. I thought it was such an adorable love story! And I couldn't believe some people said there was no chemistry between Jenifer Lopez and Matthew McConaghey. Well that is most certaintly NOT true!!! There is definitely chemistry between them. This movie is great for dating couples, married couples and even single girls out there who are looking for a good romance. This is definitely a movie I'll own when it comes out on video!!!!!
