Summary: I was an extra in this movie
Review: I was an extra in this movie. YOu wouldn't believe the work that the film makers put into making a film. Hundreds of actors and exrtas were on hand for the filming of this movie, which happens to be quite good. This movie really marks Julia Roberts return to the big time movie. The movie is funny. I personally would recomend it to Julia Roberts fans. I would also recomend it to fans of light hearted comedies. watch it and fall in love with Julia all over again.

Summary: An okay movie but not a Julia Roberts best.
Review: I had expected better... I was disappointed. It wasnt a bad movie it just fell short of my expectations. Julia Roberts groveling doesnt strike a note of truth with me and so it left me feeling like the whole thing was even fakier than fiction should be.

Summary: Julia Robert's Finest Hour!
Review: Actually, I give this movie 4 1/2 stars. Along with "The Titanic," "Everafter," and "Sleeping With the Enemy," this is one of my favorite girly movies. Roberts is a very convincing lead character. Although we may argue that her actions are reprehensible, we will probably realize that often our emotions can override our sense of morality. It is very well done how she is first presented as an admirable self sufficient woman. However, her frustrations soon lead to the gradual degeneration of her character. (Dishonesty, getting drunk, etc). Without ruining the ending, her return to humanity is beautifully done and touching. It allows us to forgive her reprehensible actions, and feel sorry for her. Kim is fine as a picture of untainted youth and innocence who must eventually face a harsh reality. Michael is fine as a man who convincingly shows us the joys and anxieties of entering into the sacrament of marriage. George is EXCELLENT revenge on homophobia. He is Julia's most loyal friend; he offers his support through her pain and sorrow and anxieties; he tries to be always compassionate and honest; and he is perhaps the only real constant voice of reason in the whole movie. I will conclude by saying that sorrow, beauty, and comedy march along side by side in this wonderfully constructed movie. We are offered a familiar story with some original twists. If you like this movie, be sure to get Julia Roberts' "Sleeping With the Enemy," Rupert Everett's "Midsummer Night's Dream," and Rupert Everett's "Shakespeare In Love."

Summary: Charming romantic comedy
Review: Julia Roberts plays a woman who is determined to win back the man who has been her friend for many years--who, in fact, she loved without realizing it. The only hitch: he is about to get married. What makes this film fresh is that Roberts' character does some really nasty things in order to accomplish her goal. It is a tribute to Roberts' charisma that she never lost my sympathy during these underhanded machinations. The story resolves itself just as it should. Rupert Everett is wonderful and his final scene with Julia Roberts is simply magical. The quintessential romantic comedy.

Summary: Good romantic comedy!
Review: MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING, in my opinion, is a good romantic comedy! If you ask me, Julia (Roberts), Dermot (Mulroney), and Cameron (Diaz) dazzle! My favorite parts are when Julianne (Julia Roberts) chases after Michael (Dermot Mulroney) as he's chasing after Kimmy (Cameron Diaz) and when Kimmy and Julianne yell at each other in the ladies' room at Comiskey Park. One thing I hate about this movie is Cameron Diaz' singing. My friend covered his ears when she sang "I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself." No offense, Cameron, but you sang better in THE MASK. In conclusion, there is a moral to this story, and that is, "Never take your relationship with your boyfriend or girlfriend for granted."

Summary: This Movie Is Very Adictive
Review: This film is very funny. I like it because of Julia Roberts.

Summary: Surperb and very outragously funny!
Review: MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING is definitely my favorite wedding film. With an all-star cast including Julia Roberts, Dermot Mulroney, Cameron Diaz, and Rupertt Everett, it makes this film even more worth-watching. Julianne (Roberts) is a food critic who soon realizes she loves her best friend, Michael (Mulroney), the day he decides to marry Kim, a perky blonde from a very wealthy family (Diaz). Determinded to win him back, Julianne will do anything to break up the couple's wedding - and she only has four days, with the help of her... friend, George (Everett). Every scheme to win Michael back is, of course, hilarious.

MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING is an excellent, feel-good romantic comedy about one who finds true love for the right person at the wrong time. Will Julianne win Michael? You'll have to see this to learn the answer! But it's actually very surprising at the end. This film is very original, too. This film is definitely worth watching!

Summary: Cute Flick
Review: This movie has many funny moments and I really enjoyed it when I saw it at the theatre, so I bought the DVD. I like the way the movie depicts life and not Hollywood life.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Very amusing and original....
Review: Julianne (Julia Roberts) discoveres she's in love with her ex boyfriend and now best friend, Michael, just when he is about to marry Kim, a perky young blond. She's determined to break up the wedding and grab Michael for herself. She flies to the wedding on his request, and shcked to be almost forced to be Kim's bridesmaid. But she recovers very quickly and even uses her position to play various dirty tricks just to break the couple up - ranging from making Kim sing Kareokee to sending a letter that might terminate Michael's job and / or trust in Kim's family.... Howdoes this work out? You'll have to see the movie to figure that out...

I liked this movie because it managed to remain both original and VERY funny, unlike many other romantic comedies...
