Summary: Loved it!!!!
Review: Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan have done it again! These two have an on-screen chemistry that will put them down in film history along with others like Hepburn and Tracy or Astaire and Rogers. It was very different from its preceding movie, Sleepless in Seattle, which I loved, of course. What I found to be a pleasant difference was the fact that these characters actually meet, have real dialogue, and get to know each other, before they discover they are meant for one another. In Sleepless in Seattle, they said "hi" on the street once, and then they suddenly know they have each found the person of their dreams, their significant other, their soulmate, etc. This movie begs the answer of the question, "What if that man or that woman that you see everyday is the love of your life, but you just don't know it yet?" Since I love romantic comedies, I of course jumped to see this one. I have found that the true test of whether or not a romantic movie is any good is if the feeling you get when you leave the theater is a wonderful warm feeling, "almost like being in love". (If you've seen Brigadoon, you would understand that. Now there's a romantic movie that gives you a very warm feeling.)This is one film that definitely succeeds in that area. Two thumbs up and a couple of toes!

Summary: Sometimes reality and fantasy meet in real life.............
Review: ......and this movie is a great example of that. I met my husband through electronic mail and can vouch for the sweetness and romantic qualities of You've Got Mail. Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan are charming and endearing in this movie. It's also wonderful that they both have more scenes together than in the other five-star movie, Sleepless in Seattle. This is a light-hearted,romantic comedy that should be viewed by all.

Summary: Great romantic movie
Review: I absolutely loved this movie. When I got out of the theater, I thought I was on cloud number 7. Very romantic and funny with some great twists! Great to watch on a date or if you've been married for a while. It's really a feel-good-movie. I highly recommend it!

Summary: If you liked Sleepless in Seatle, you wil LOVE this movie.
Review: Granted that the story is somewhat predictable, it's great entertainment for those true romantics at heart. Most importantly, it gives a very realistic view on how online relationships occur, and how intellectually intimate and intense they can be. It's a very '90s story. I will buy it so my kids know how mom and dad met! :)

Summary: great
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Some related it to Sleepless in Seattle, but it was not. Tracey and Hepburn did similar movies, however each was different from the other. This is the same. I liked it better than Sleepless. So did my family.

Summary: Ryan and Hanks together again (thank goodness)!
Review: You've Got Mail has got to be my number one choice must see film of 1999! Once again Ryan and Hanks light up the screen in this romantic comedy about two individuals that decide to have a relationship via the internet. Full of love and excitement from beginning to end, this is a must see movie for any movie fan. *Other films with Ryan and Hanks include: Sleepless In Seattle & Joe Vs The Volcano.
