Rating: 4 stars
Summary: hilarious
Review: This was the funniest movie since dumb and dumber. I give it a 4 four because it was terrible, but hilariously stupid.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of the Funniest Movies I've ever seen.
Review: This movie was incredibly funny, and it already had a MST3K quality built in to it. Don't miss this one!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Justice!!!
Review: Justice, indeed, for Kung Pow. The critics were horrendous when the movie came out in January. I'm gald to see its better graded here, because this is one heck of a funny movie, especially if you know a bit about kung fu action flics and are "mentally askew". I don't buy many DVD's (i currently have 3), but this one, i'll be sure to buy.

Summary: Has a few laughs, but not worth the $20
Review: The previews made it look funny; but ofcourse, the previews show the best parts! You don't have to be a kung-fu movie fanatic to get the jokes, you just have to appreciate a satire. Some people who don't understand satires and just saw it as a regular comedy will laugh but they will find the wacky antics a bit strange. The movie pokes fun at the voice dubbing by having annoying, high-pitched and deep voices replacing the actors own, but the joke gets tired halfway through. It has all the obligatory kung-fu characters: the old wise man, the evil, snickering enemy and his backup enforcement and a brave man avenging his master's death. The play on stereotypes and fight scenes were the funniest elements, but the film soon runs out of gas and ends up mocking itself. Not the worst movie but not worth the $20.

Summary: Rolling in the aisles...
Review: This was an absolutely hilarious movie. You can't go to this movie expecting oscar caliber anything. Its just a silly movie that everyone needs now and then.
... the cow scene was NOT the funniest part. It wasn't even that funny. You have to see past the bad scenes to see how this comedy really shines, and shine it does. Throughout the entire movie, the voices have been done in that bad, japanese dub, which just adds to the hilarity. The randomness of everything is what had me rolling in the aisles. An old man talking when a butterfly flies down his throat, the guy trying to jump over a wall, but instead flying into it, and i can't say enough about Betty (aka Master Pain).
The only bad thing is that the story is forgetable. But, if you like The Three Stooges, Dumb & Dumber, or you just plain wanna laugh, Kung Pow is the movie for you.

Summary: I loved this movie!
Review: I truly enjoyed this movie. Many things about it made me think of my second favorite movie Wrongfully Accused(a truly magnificent film).

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: What's wrong with having a little fun?
Review: O.K. so, I've seen the movie and now I'm reading all these heartless people say how bad it is! I have also read a lot about it and such. Steve Oedekerk wanted it to look cheesy and did an awsome job, I laughed at every little gag he put in (Except the cow fight!) My friends and I Still say OOOEEEOOOEEEEOOOO, and laugh at each other, thats whats it's all about, Adam Sandler does a great Job, and Steve, worked a wounder, in this film, I could'nt belive that, anything could make me laugh sooooo hard, So if you do whatch this film, PLEASE, remember that, anything you see, that seems cheap and cheesy, "He did'nt have to do it that way" But, he did for a reason!!!!GREAT JOB STEVE!!! OOOOOEEEEOOO.

Summary: Brilliant to a few, stupid to the rest!
Review: Kung Pow to me has to be the absolute funniest movie I have ever seen. It is the stupidest movie, but I have not laughed that hard at a movie since Dumb and Dumber and I laughed twice as hard at Kung Pow... This brilliant man-Steve Oedekerk-made a movie that couldn't have been any funnier. It looked like they spent about 50 bucks on this movie and they made it brilliant. Anybody who laughes at MST3K or the fighting scene in Wayne's World 2 with wayne and kasandra's father will definitely love Kung Pow.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Not "Grow Up", but "Get Smart"
Review: A few small things work, but the basic thrust of this director's sense of humor is so lame, you either have to adore the spectacle of human stupidity or actually be one of the stupid people of the planet to sit through more than 5 minutes of it.

Women meow like cats; mens voices are dubbed in falsetto, pushing the dubbing joke to such a sophomoric low it is totally unfunny ( and it is a tough joke to mess up, not that Oedekerk seems to have much trouble messing up humor opportunities); there is a joke about a woman with one breast that is ugly and sexist, a guaranteed cracker-upper for those eternal yokels at heart. And the few things that work sail by in seconds, while the dumb-dumb parts of the script are pounded on and labored over repeatedly for what seems like forever.

They don't make movies any worse than this.

Summary: "THAT'S A LOT OF NUTS!!!"
Review: When I first bought tickets to see this movie, I was a little skeptical. Sure, it would have a few good laughs, but overall, it would just be another waste of five bucks. ...
