Summary: relax!!!it's funny
Review: Yeah, I know. When I first saw the ads I thought the movie was the most idiotic thing ever made. Then someone in my family rented it and convinced me to watch it. It was hilarious. Some of the gags are a little over the top, but most were incredibly funny and made good use of the original footage. It reminds me of Monty Python in the way that it is totally ridiculous but funny stuff. If you don't enjoy this movie, it is because you and your little brain can't handle the world being out of order. Although you obviously don't need to use your brain to watch this movie, you need to be intelligent enough to enjoy the humor of things being unrealistic. Congratulations to director/actor Oedekerk; I would like to see a sequel. Let me leave you all with this thought: "THAT'S A LOT OF NUTS!!!" (You have to watch the movie to get that hehe.)

Summary: Better than I thought
Review: I had no idea what this movie was going to be about except from what I saw on the cover. I immediately judged it by it's cover saying "A fighting cow? How stupid! This will be a waste of my time."

The begining did not grip me and I was still convinced that it was going to be horrible, but when I realized that it was a spin-off of a Kung Fu movie with added scenes, it all "made sense" and it was hilarious. I had to press pause so that I could stop laughing and continue on.

You definitely have to have a certain sense of humor to find this movie funny and highly entertaining so if you have a sense of humor on a self-made high chair, then don't watch this movie, because you just won't get it.

I cannot wait for Kung Pow part 2!

Summary: Worst Movie Ever
Review: This is possibly the worst movie I have ever seen. It's not funny, it's not fun, it's not entertaining, the only word that describes movie is bad. I wouldn't recommend this dvd if it cost 2 bucks. In closing all can say is this film is the benchmark for all horrible movies to be measured against and I would rather eat live maggots than watch this piece of garbage again.

Summary: As silly as they come
Review: When I first saw this advertised I thought, "Oh great, another stupid movie that goes for cheap laughs". And I was right! The jokes are VERY silly, predictable, and I don't think they worked very hard on them. The only reason I saw this movie is because my friend kept quoting from it and telling me I should watch it. So we did. It's a good idea to edit the actors into old footage of kung-foo movies, but the parts that they made themselves (i.e. when he fights with the cow...) are very dumb. Obviously the people that made this have brains that work like this:
FALLING DOWN + STUPID FACE = FUNNY. I don't agree with that logic. I mean, just look at the cover of this! Gopher-chucks? Why? I just don't get it! Really, don't waste your time on this movie unless you like really goofy and predictable things.

Summary: Kung foo fun
Review: Kung Pow is a kind of a movie that is not intended to stimulate the intellectual side of its viewers. It relies sometimes on over-the-top silly kid jokes. Nevertheless, I found myself enjoying it. I think that the reason I did was because I have seen many fighting flicks in the past, and seing a movie that made fun of them was very novel. After all, this comedy makes fun of practically every single stereotypical feature of an average kung fu movie. If you were or still are a fan of kung fu movies you might find Kung Pow rather entertaining. If you are not, then be aware of possible disappointment.

Summary: Even funny for the 130th time!
Review: This movie is hilarious! Even though it starts out somewhat boring, in a few minutes you will be laughing. There is so much to see, you will be noticing things for the first time... even if it is your 5th time watching! I enjoyed the movie, but parents might need to think twice about letting young children view it, (There is some strong language).

Review: This movie doesn't even deserve a star. It deserves 0. It was so pointless...I fell asleep. About half the theater left in the middle of the movie (i'm serious) and my bro just rented it and could only stand to watch 15 minutes of it. You must be pretty messed up to give this movie 5 stars. I didn't smile once...it isn't my kinda humor. Sick, disgusting stuff isn't my kinda humor.

Summary: Hilariously Redundant,
Review: Okay I don't really have any sort of standards when it comes to comedy movies, I think if it's got a punch-line and maybe some twist of irony, it is funny. This movie is a low budget film; it was meant to be a spoof; and shouldn't be taken seriously. Some people will say that their level of intelligence is above that of Oedekerks and Kung Pow is a disgrace for what theatres allow now. What is with these people? They adhere to some belief that if they would be embarassed to show the movie to their mother then it is bad and should ruin everyone else's fun by saying it's not funny; when really they aren't able to enjoy the movie for what it is because of these standards. I think Oedekerk was hilarious in the movie and the writing [or what sounded almost as improv] was top-notch; however, by the film's end I was tired of the dubbing and the purposely delayed reaction between Oedekerk and what he is saying.
We all like to make fun of Jackie Chan movies or whatever, but basing a movie on spoofing another type of movie? It's hilarious for the first part of the movie, then it just gets redundant. I especially got tired of Oedekerk's voice and the shotty job at acting, if that's what they call it. If you enjoy laughing AT a movie for how poorly it was made and enjoy a good low-brow laugh, Kung Pow is for you.

Summary: Great Film, great dvd
Review: Let me just start off saying that I didn't think that I'd like this film at all. The previews made me want my money back (I saw the preview at Black Hawk Down), and after seing Steve Oedekerk's flat-out AWFUL sequel to Ace Ventura, I decided to turn this one down. I kept running into it at stores, and seing "the chosen edition" on it. This film looked like a bomb like a Freddy Got Fingered. But, it really is laugh-out-loud funny. Rat Race also had awful trailers but was flat-out halarious. The film is actually a 1970's Japanese film with Steve Oedekerk's head superimposed on the main charecter, and the soundtrack dubbed by the producers. Even though it sounds like something on Mad TV or Whose like is it anyway, you know something that would work in a skit but not a full-lenght feature, it isn't. It makes fun of everything, including Bowflex, Radioshack, just to name a few. I also like the poor dubbing. It took the 2 things that were funny about Ace Ventura 2, and made a feature of jokes just as funny. And what's funny is that you knew is that in the original, theyre saying something serious, and in this one it's completely goofy, with perfect timing! I have very high standards for comedy, but this one made me laugh out loud. The dvd has neverending deleted scenes, and great visual features. The picture is not very crisp, but since it was a 1970's film from Japan, you can't expect much. Steve Oedekerk intentionally shot his parts on bad film, and everything blends. Steve Oedekerk is really the only actor except the originalone's. Just a wonderful and creative effort. Thank you for taking the time to read my review. Feel free to leave me a helpful/not helpful feedback. God Bless America!

Summary: Supremely Awful
Review: This film was not even funny. Anything that you saw in previews or ads was the best parts of the film. Please, don't buy this film. It would only be advancing the cause of idiocy everywhere.

If you have extra money to get rid of and can't think of anything else other than this film to buy, just throw the money away. That would be less of a disappointment.

It needs negative stars, not one star...
