Summary: ..:+:.SHAZZAAM!! BEST AUSTIN POWERS MOVIE YET!!.:.+:..
Review: I went to see Goldmember in theaters and when the movie was over, the first thing I said to my mom is: "WE HAVE TO GET THAT ON DVD WHEN IT COMES OUT!!" I was laughing throughout the whole movie, and so was my mom. AP movies are known for their crude humor and sometimes only adults understand it, but not for Goldmember!! The lines in the movie are hilarious and witty, and the characters are too! When we got the Goldmember DVD for my dad's birthday, it was even funnier. In fact, each time the family watches it, we laugh harder and harder. The "mole" scenes are side-splitting and to this day if my family sees anyone with a big mole, we turn to eachother and mimic Dr. Evil by shreiking "WWOOOOOAAAAA!!!!" LOL!! GET THIS DVD YOU WILL BE SOOO HAPPY YOU DID!!!!!!!! ;)

Summary: Funnier than the last Spy Who Shagged Me
Review: Haven seen both the first Man Of Mystery, the second The Spy Who Shagged Me and this lsat installment. I can say that this is the funniest of all three. Two new characters are introduced in this film Austin's Dad Nigel Powers, and Foxy Cleopatra. The jokes in this last movie made a lot more sense to me and tickled me more than the entire second Austin Powers movie did, espeically the part with The Osbournes and the outtakes on the end of the DVD. The second movie was awful but this one put some life back into Austin Powers.

Summary: Review For Goldmember
Review: The move is a little tired; maybe the original inspiration has run its course. It's a small disappointment, but I'm glad I saw it. The movie is remarkably spry and inspiring. But, the only thing that won't make you laugh, unless you've got a 12-year-old's sense of humor, is the film's tireless parade of gross-out gags and scatological verbal jests. For all the fun it conjures, Goldmember is also a bloated...decadent mess. Though, Goldmember is rudely free-associational...like a hallucination on the themes of 60's and 70's pop culture by someone who longs to have been there and has the next-best thing to the time machine. I recommend you to buy this.

Summary: A Bit More Original Than Austin Powers 2
Review: "Goldmember," like "The Spy Who Shagged Me," sees a lot of the jokes from the first film recycled. However, I like "Goldmember" better than Austin Powers 2 because I feel that it offered a little bit more originality. This doesn't mean that it's neccessarily funnier, though.

The best departure from Austin Powers 2 is the addition of the Foxy Cleopatra character, who gives the film a completely different spin from the first two Austin Powers movies.

The "Hard Knock Life" video between Dr. Evil and Mini-Me is exceptionally funny, as is the interaction between Austin Powers and his father.

However, I disliked the ending, and also felt that the "Goldmember" character himself was irrelevant to the plot.

Better than Austin Powers 2, but just can't compare to the original.

Summary: Meyers Loses the Midas Touch
Review: The makers of James Bond were in a tizzy when Meyers decided to name the third installment of the Austin Powers franchise after one of their classic films, Goldfinger. However, they shouldn't have worried too much about this movie stealing 007's thunder; it's a shoddy mess, and not even the perfect casting of Michael Caine as Austin's father or the hilarious "surprise" cameos by Hollywood's largest film stars can save it. One of the biggest faults of the Austin Powers series was that each film often played more like a collection of loosely connected skits rather than a structured, cohesive film. If this was somewhat noticeable in the first two installments, it is screamingly obvious here; Goldmember is little more than a big screen TV comedy variety program without the ad breaks. Making matters worse is that this movie is completely on autopilot, from the uninspired opening credits to the same, tired gags from the previous two films. ("Up in the sky! Are those..." "Balls. Yes, we have tennis balls!") Beyonce looks great, but might as well be wallpaper in this flick; Nathan Lane, in a cameo, is wasted; and Fred Savage is... well, Fred Savage. Will delight newcomers to the series, but will be a disappointment for diehard fans expecting some of the same magic of the first film. Let's pray that if there is a 4th installment, Meyers will let someone more disciplined take over, lest he run the franchise into the ground and turn it the way of "Police Academy."

Summary: Better thanThe Spy Who Shagged Me
Review: This third outing is much better than the THE SPY WHO SHAGGED ME. It feels closer to the original but still has a long way to go to match that one. All in all it is still an enjoyable movie and has some great laughs that just keep coming.

Summary: Wonderful
Review: "I have a Dutch accent - isn't that weird" - asks the newest character in Austin Powers, the Goldmember played by Myers himself. WOW. This man is so funny. I don't know where does he come up with funny material like that.
You must see the Japanese twins and definitely you must learn their names.
You must see Beyonce as an actor, she's wonderful and who would want to miss Fat Bastards when he's not fat anymore.
Gosh no matter how bored or sad you are - this movie will make you laugh out loud over and over again.

Summary: This time Austin Powers really and truly loses his Mojo.
Review: I liked Austin Powers I and II but this third one is a total bummer. This movie was made simply to put Hollywood's big shot celebrities and MTV pop culture up on a pedestal. Many of the big shot names made brief and absolutely pointless appearances. Second of all, it doesn't continue off as a sequel to the last movie the way Austin Powers II did. Whatever became of his girlfriend/sidekick (played by Heather Graham) from the last Austin Powers movie? That's a total mystery.
Perhaps a couple of scenes (not too many at all) are funny, but the story line just has no point to it. It becomes very difficult to keep up with because they keep taking time out to throw in these unnecessary scenes featuring famous celebrities, which becomes just plain annoying after a while.
Last, but not least, not only is Beyonce Knowles a bad actress, but she also makes for a poor sidekick for Austin. Her good-girl professional image is not Austin Powers material. What were they thinking??? C'mon folks, Austin Powers is supposed to be the man! He always gets the girl in the end. What happened here??? He had a sexy, attractive woman like Beyonce Knowles next to him and he was scared to even try anything! Did Austin lose his mojo or what? WHATEVER???
If you wan't real hilarious, tongue in cheek Austin Powers, I recommend getting the first and second of the series. This one, you can skip.

Summary: Okay once
Review: The thing about this movie is, when I saw it in the theatrSe it was hillarious and unpredictable. When I got this dvd so my family and me could watch it, we sat throught it in total silence. The movie's fine once, so borrow it or something, it's not worth buying. The special features are okay, but not worth buying it alone for.

Summary: I Will Definitely Buy This Widescreen DVD!
Review: I borrowed my nephew's Goldmember DVD and though I thought the first two movies were funnier I thought this was funny too and I enjoyed it and all of the jokes and gags, I thought Mike Myers was still hilarious as Austin Powers and Dr. Evil and I liked Seth Green as Scott, Verne Troyer as Mini Me and the rest of the cast including Beyonce Knowles who I thought was very good for someone who hadn't really acted before. I didn't really care for the Goldmember character but the rest of Mike Myer's characters are good so he can be easily overlooked! I Have the other two Ausin Powers' movies on DVD and I will definitely be buying this Goldmember widescreen DVD too!
