Summary: Still Funny/Scary
Review: Giz is back, along with a group of green, scaly, evil monster gremlins. Once again, the rules are broken and a new group of gremsters are formed, but this time it's in New York City inside a new, fully-automated office building. The original cast is back (Phoebe Cates is still hot), along with some new people and new kinds of Gremlins after they mutate in a genetics lab. We get a flying gremlin, a spider gremlin, and even a super-smart gremlin that can speak plain English. This movie is hilarious, and it is a little less dark than the first, but there are still some gory scenes. If you want a good time, see this movie, and see the original.

Summary: Two Versions Of The Movie.
Review: There are two versions of this movie around. Remember that scene wher Christopher Lee walks up to Billy and sais he saw a gremlin? On the video, the picture gets screwed up (because the gremlins are sapposed to be fooling around with the projector) and then they get in a gun fight with John Wayne. However, when this is on movie channels (HBO, Encore, Starz) a very different version of this scene happens. The picture gets screwed up and then we get some very quick shots of Black-And-White nude woman, followed by watching a mother (in color) pulling her daughter out of a theatre and complaining to a manager. Then, a man comes down with a tangled up projector and screams "There are Gremlins in the projector". The manager walks into the theatre and talks to a big guy named Hunk, who screams "You Gremlins run the rest of Gremlins 2 right now!" He then looks at the screen and sais "Sorry folks. It won't happen again." The whole gunfight part is not there. I think a DVD should be released with both versions of the movie available, because there is no video featuring this scene (fortunatly I recorded it) and I'm sure fans would like to own both cuts of the movie. Review: Gremlins 2 is great just like the first. This movie is more of a spoof than a horror. The gremlins are now unleashed in a building in N.Y. called The Clamp Building. This movie is fun and will make a great one to have in your house to watch whenever you want. Your going to love it.

Summary: Starts off slow, but when it picks up...IT PICKS UP!
Review: I'd been wanting to see this movie for over 10 years. I was only 7 when it was released to video. Everytime we went to the video store I would see the cover to this movie. The chair, the claw marks, the green scaly hand with the cigar...I was captivated. But, alas, my parents wouldn't get it; they said it would be too scary. Well, just a few months ago, I was starved for entertainment. Then, at SUNCOAST, there it was. GREMLINS 2: THE NEW BATCH, on sale. I snapped it up and drove right home to view it. Oh Lord, was I not disappointed. Once the movie was over, I was still laughing my head off half-an-hour later. While it helps to have seen the original, it is not necessary (for example, I haven't). This movie begins rather slowly, re-introducing us to various characters. But once Gizmo gets wet, the movie goes into overdrive. In my opinion, the funniest part was the intelligent Brain Gremlin and his big musical number near the end. I don't want to spoil it, so I won't reveal the exact details. Highly recommended!

Review: I can't beleive you people like Gremlins 2 it's dumb. This time they are in New York City and they all hatch during the day but not night. It's good to see everyone back but what happened to Billy's parents? The only thing good about this movie is the big spider near the ending. The first Gremlins is the best stick with that one. This sequel is just lame.

Summary: The new and wilder batch of Gremlins
Review: "Gremlins 2 - The New Batch" is a much funnier, wilder, and surprisingly even a better movie than the original "Gremlins." Zach Galligan and Phoebe Cates are back in this hilarious sequel, and so is Gizmo. Gizmo's old caretaker dies and Gizmo is picked up by some scientists who want to do experiments on him. Billy (Zach Galligan) rescues Gizmo and tells him to stay put until he can take him home. However, Gizmo doesn't stay put and (yep, you guessed it) he gets wet and produces even more of the ecstatic Gremlins than ever before. This time, the Gremlins terrorize a building that belongs to the new business, Clamp. It's up to Gizmo and the people of New York City to find a way, if there is one, to stop the wildly insane Gremlins from taking over the whole city. "Gremlins 2 - The New Batch" is 100 times funnier than the first movie, and you'll know what I mean when you see some of the parts such as one of the Gremlins trying to be a dentist and some Gremlins duking it out with the Duke himself, John Wayne, with some guns in a western movie. The special effects are also a lot better. And the Gremlins are now taking new forms such as electricity, one Gremlin becomes smart and can talk distinguishly, and there's even one that can fly, and one that is in the form of a huge and terrifying spider. These Gremlins are wilder and more uncontrollable by the minute! Pretty much, "Gremlins 2 - The New Batch" is a funnier and more upbeat movie than the original, and that makes for an even more entertaining movie. There's not many sequels to great movies that can even stand up to the original, and especially not many that are better than the original, but "Gremlins 2 - The New Batch" is a huge exception. I recommend this movie to anybody who liked "Gremlins" and to anybody who likes comedy movies at all. This is a must have!

Review: this is a very good sequel to gremlins not quiet as good but not far from it the comodey is great and it has alot to do with the original unlike other sequels the leader gremlin is just as good as stripe of the first I highly suggest this film.

Review: This movie is not as dark as the first(although it does have some gruesome scenes)is very funny and has some great special effects.Now the little beasts are loose in a giant skyscraper and have broken into a genectics lab and are mutating into bizzare creatures.They must be stopped before night or else they will escape and start terrorizing New York.Zach Galligan returns as Billy and our favorite Mogwai Gizmo is spectacularly brought to life by great special effects.All in all a great film even though it didn't do to well at the box office.
