Rating: Summary: Pretty funny Review: A good collection of clips, but Hannukah Harry isn't included as advertised, so be aware. Adam Sandler's hysterical "Hannukah Song" however, is - it's almost worth it to buy the whole video just for that.

Rating: Summary: SNL XMAS PAST AND PRESENT. a little more past please! Review: A good look at the best xmas skits from SNL, except they forgot Hannakuh Harry & Gumby's X-Mas Special. It was great though to see Chevy Chase (as President Ford) open the collection, with other appearences by the BEST & ORIGINAL Not Ready For Prime Time Players Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, Jane Curtain, Garrett Morris, Gilda Radner and Second Season replacement Bill Murray. Why Wont Lorne Micheals release SNL Season by season? It would be great to catch ALL the great performances, like the 1st season,PLEASE! Hail Chevy Chase! Rating: Summary: Santa's Living in A Van Down By the River! Review: Christmas is a special time of the year. There have been houndreds and thousands of great Christmas flicks. But even the classic "It's a wonderful life" fails to capture the true spirit of Cristmas as well as Chris Farley dressed up as a mall Santa Claus/motivational speaker. This is the funniest SNL sketch EVER! Chris Farley takes his Matt Foley character to new levels as St. Nick. David spade is also hilarious as Santa's snotty little elf. At one point in the skit Santa reads a Christmas poem to a child sitting on his lap. The piece starts out like the classic "T'was the Night before Christmas." and just as I was hoping for, it ended with, "...and I said with a quiver, because I'm living in a van down by the river!" The rest of the tape was pretty funny. But no other sketch made me laugh as hard as the Farley one. So, If you feel like another year of Miracle on 34th street. Go ahead. But if you want to really get into the Christmas spirit, buy this tape, gather around the fireplace with your family, and enjoy the comedic beauty of SNL. Rating: Summary: No Sweeney Sisters? Review: I bought this assuming for some reason that the Sweeney Sisters Christmas skit was here, because i saw Paul Simon's name in the credits and he happened to be in one of their skits. Alas, NO Sweeney Sisters skit was to be found. That's minus 1 star. Also deduct another for including the dysfunctional christmas skit INSTEAD of the Sweeney Sisters. The latter is even funnier than the Rita from Brooklyn skit, though i do like seeing Cheri Oteri included in this dvd.
Rating: Summary: Not worth purchasing Review: I'm a big fan of SNL, but most of the skits on this video weren't that funny. Adam Sandler singing the Hanukkah Song, and Chris Farley as Santa were the only two skits that made me laugh. I bought this as a gift for my father-in-law and I wish I hadn't! Maybe next year I'll buy him the Best of Chris Farley.
Rating: Summary: Prettty good mix of old and new Review: I'm a pretty big SNL fan. I don't get to watch as much as I'd like to anymore, but it's the most consistent funny show on tv. The SNL Christmas special is a great DVD. It does have some notable skits. I love the skit with Alec Baldwin and the NPR ladies. It's so funny because all of them play being so serious so well. I laugh so hard every time I see this skit. I liked the Martha Stewart topless christmas. She is such an easy target to make fun of and they do it great in this skit. Martha Stewart is annoying because of the way she talks and the way she presents herself. They spoof it so well in topless christmas. It's one of the better skits on the dvd. All the skits with old SNL members are great. Dan Akroyd is one of the funniest guys to live and his skits as the toliet paper saleman and the toymaker are great. Are two favorite SNL drunks Farley and Belushi both have some good stuff there fans should like. Adam Sandler does the Hannakuh song. It's not the best version of the song, but it is the original and what a funny song it is. I love this DVD. It's one of the better best of's they've made and I'm glad it's part of my collection.
Rating: Summary: Not the best SNL video, but still funny. Review: It may not have the Hannukah Harry sketch, but this is a funny video. If you are a Saturday Night Live fan, you'll like this video. It has some of the best SNL Christmas sketches from the past to present. Don't be fooled by the "featuring Hannukah Harry" sticker on the packaging. It is not in the video.
Rating: Summary: This tape DOES NOT have Hannukah Harry on it! Review: It says on the box "featuring Hannukah Harry". There is a picture of him on the back of the box. But the Hannukah Harry sketch is not on this tape. The only reason I bought it was for the HH sketch, and it isn't on here. Wah!
