Summary: Bad, but not bad in a humorous kind of way
Review: This cult film is supposed to be funny because it's so bad, but unfortunately it isn't. It's just not funny, either on the bad level, or on the regular level. There are one or two legitimately good gags,like the japanese man who talks in translation, but the rest of it is just wearing attempts at any kind of humor.

Review: This has got to be the most bizarre movie I've ever seen, and believe me, I've seen a lot of weirdos. Tomatoes the size of minivans terrorizing the country. I could probably have single-handedly paid all costs for this movie- gives a new meaning to the term "low budget". The director and producer each had about fifteen roles, appeared to have recruited the cast out of their friends and relatives, and must have taken bad hallucinogens while eating a Caesar salad as small children. The movie was deservedly given bad ratings by the reviewers, yet this is the main part of its charm- watch it, laugh, and then groan at the same time. This is such a stinker it's zillions of times more enjoyable than most serious movies given great reviews.

Review: This is a clasic!!!!! The night after our mom died, my sister & I sat with our dad discussing everything. We really needed something to break the mood & to allow us to sleep. After a bit of channel surfing, we found this movie!!! It was WONDERFUL!!!! We all laughed so hard that that it helped us all to have a good night's sleep on the one night none of us thought we'd sleep! It was perfect!!!!!

Review: This is a parody lover's dream ! (Or is that a nightmare?) What a hoot! A spoof of all those ..."monster flicks" that assault the airwaves. If you take this film too seriously, you must be humor impaired! Granted some of the humor is pretty crude, but we're not talking MASTERPIECE THEATER here. If you enjoy satire, and I DO, go for it. I just wonder what Ed Wood would have done with this one ?

Summary: Better than Casablanca!
Review: This is not the Director's Cut. For example, the Director's Cut did not have the Mindmaker song in it, this does. There are a few changes from the film you might have seen 25 years ago, but that may be because you don't remember things from 25 years ago, or because that version was changed for the video. Or, maybe, we did add someting. In any case, it's better that Casablanca - Casablanca was in black and white. This movie is in COLOR! Buy it. I need to put my daughter through college.Costa Dillon

Summary: Great sci-fi/horror movie!!!
Review: This is one of the best sci-fi movies ever produced. In this flick, a bunch of killer tomatoes are plotting to take over the world. Anyone who gets in their way is as good as gone. As far as the '70s go, this is definitely one of the better sci-fi flicks. The story is not quite as enthralling as Star Wars, but the acting is top-notch and the special effects are even better! You'll never look at a tomatoe the same way! The big tomoatoes look so realistic when they are attacking people. The special effects in this flick were definitely ahead of their time. Parents probably shouldn't let kids under 9 watch this movie - they'll get nightmares. However, anyone older than 15 will love it. It's a gut-wrenching adventure!!!

Summary: Great--BUT!! WARNING!!! Don't buy Director's Cut!
Review: This movie is a classic goofball flick: you'll love it or hate it. I love it! I am mainly writing this as a warning about the "Director's Cut" version of the film that Disney released. Viewers should be warned, this is not good! It's true that a cut scene or two is added back in...but the payoff isn't worth the price. The movie is interrupted several times for comments from the director!!!!! And they cut out the Advertising song!!!!! ("They sell, they buy, and only I know why!") Try to find a full copy, the restored scene is feeble, and isn't worth the interruptions and loss of the terrible, terrible song.

Summary: Just plain stupid...but worth seeing once
Review: This movie is dumb, just so you know. I mean, come on, a movie about "killer tomatoes?" I bought this moive because I use to watch the cartoon on Fox when I was in high-school. And I actually liked the cartoon. It was cheezy, but kinda cool. This movie is just cheezy. The two good things about this movies is the bragging rights of saying that you actually saw this movie, and to hear the song "attack of the killer tomatoes." It's an annoying song, but gets stuck in my head easy.
