Summary: Comedy & Horror Will Never Mix............
Review: Scary Movie is basically a lame parody of Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer. Like the manufactuer's description, if youv'e seen Scream and I Know What You Did, then you know the whole movie. There are a few funny jokes, especailly at the beggining with Carmen Electra, but the movie gets weirder as it continues.Basically the only reason someone would ever buy this crap would be either they really hated the two originals or just really, really like them. The killer, who some call Smiley due to his smiling scream mask at Halloween, however, is alright at playing Mr. Ghostface. So in otherwords, this movie is low in the Spaceballs level. Please, watch the originals if you want a good slaher flick. Or go get a comedy like Mr. Deeds or Anger Management. Comedy and Horror just don't mix.

Summary: Hilarious movie
Review: Scary Movie is a hilarious movie, starring Anna Faris as Cindy, and my favorite character, the stoner Shorty. The movie begins, with a hilarious scene, which is the perfect parody of Scream's first scene. For example, Drew answers the killers question of what's your favorite scary movie by saying Kazaam, the one where Shaq plays a genie. There are many other hilarious moments and one liners, like when the murder hides from our heroine Cindy behind a couch. However, there are some extremely sick parts, like when Ray goes into the bathroom, but don't let the few parts like that stop you from seeing this hilarious movie, but I do suggest that if you haven't Scream, you might want to see that first.

Summary: A true gem!!
Review: Not a five-star film... that's for special movies. But you need to see this!! Yes, the humor is kind of overdone/over the top and/or truly sick at times, but that just adds to it. There are so many films being parodied you lose track, but you almost NEVER stop laughing. This is one worth owning, seriously!

Summary: Do Not Be Afraid...
Review: After the huge success of Scream and other popular teen horror films, it wasn't too long for Hollywood to create a side-splitting parody of the popular movie genre. A group of dim-witted teens (oddly played by actors and actresses in their 20s and 30s) are being murdered by a masked maniac. Unlike previous parodies, "Scary Movie" is a hysterical gross-out comedy that ranks as the funniest film of 2000. Though I'm not a fan of teen horror movies, there are enough unforgettable wildly entertaining comic scenes that will keep viewers laughing from start to finish. Director Keenan Ivory Wayans (Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood) has surpassed the Farrelly Brothers' unique talent for crude humor with some of the most outrageous comic scenes in years. The comic cast includes Marlon Wayans, Shannon Elizabeth (American Pie), Shawn Wayans, Cheri Oteri (SNL), Lochlyn Munro (Dead Man on Campus) and Carmen Electra (Baywatch).

If you're a fan of crude humor and film satire, "Scary Movie" is an impressive DVD to own. The hit comedy is presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen format. The DVD contains a sharp video transfer and a great 5.1 Dolby Digital sound. The opening title menu is quite nice. Its special features include six hilarious deleted scenes, trailers, a behind-the-scenes featurette and numerous DVD-ROM extras like "Scary Movie: Guide for the Culturally Challenged". Overall, "Scary Movie" earns a worthy "B".

Summary: The first one is the best of the three of them
Review: The first "Scary Movie" is definitely the best of the three of them, because it's more funny, entertaining and everything else than the others. starting with Carmen Electra farting, this film compilates very good parts of the best horror movies of that times and makes them be funny, without taking away the death of the charachters. The 2nd Scary Movie isn't better than this one, because it takes part in one place only, but it has very sexual and funny parts too, like when the girl gets f***ed by the ghost in her bedroom and she jumps all over the room like she was flying...but we're talking about this one, and I really loved it, it's the best of the three of them.

Summary: This is funny as heck
Review: Man this is funny. This is the type of comedy I can keep watching forever. I just saw someone give this a one star. WHAT! This was hilarous. The second one was better though but I still give this a five. On the next scary movie they should make fun of chucky or jason. That would be nice to see

Summary: HAHAHAHA ! ! ! !
Review: Very funny. I watched it about five years ago so I do not remember a thing, but I remember I loved it and laughed with all my strength. Back then it was on of my favorite movies. I watched it almost every day. The best from the SCARY MOVIE trilogy is the second one, for me. I loved it. One of the best comedy movies ever. If you like strong crude and sexual, gross humor, you will love SCARY MOVIE, specially the second one.
Watch this one. You'll have a time full of laughter and entertainment.

Summary: Scary Movie Is Wonderfully Classic!
Review: I have always loved parodies but this one is the one that really opened up the genre to a whole new audience in a way that is comical and appealing. I had already seen "Scary Movie 3" before watching this original and the first is definately a hell of a lot better. Anna Farris is amazing at portraying Cindy and does a hilarious job of using her abilities to help the character. The supporting cast is great too with guest Carmen Electra and then the hilarious Brenda, and Marlon and Shawn Wayans. This film is an amazing movie with enough laughs to keep you appealed but yet it has some really great "dead-pan" lines. I don't know why so many people take this film so seriously and tell everyone it is too sick. It is really not that bad, I mean I hear a hell of a lot worse things everday at school than what is said and portrayed in this movie. And really it's a comedy and it didn't effect me at all. And if this film had been rated NC-17, I think it only would have increased its appeal. Why do people make such mountains out of molehills? All I can say is: it's hilarious, it's hardly sick, and made in a fresh way that has to make everyone laugh in some way or another. And remember, this is the best of the so-far trilogy: Scary Movie 2 was very odd and didn't go anywhere with bad editing and a plot that didn't exactly say how Brenda and Ray survived. and Scary Movie 3 was just horrendous. Is it really that funny seeing people throw up and watching a "child-friendly" movie that has totally screwed up the more adult feel to the series. Overall, this is wonderful.
