Rating: Summary: Top Gun in different way Review: Starring Charlie Sheen, Hot Shots is a parody of Top Gun with a flavor of Airplane thrown in. Funny, Stupid and Silly action make this a must RENT. If you really like this you might want to buy it just to view it's comedy again and again. The Sequel(Hot Shots: Part Deux) is alright, nothing special. I recommend Airplane if you liked this movie.
Rating: Summary: Very very funny film Review: This is film is hilarious. It's a great addition to my DVD collection.

Rating: Summary: Hilarious!!! Review: This is one of the funniest films I've seen since....forever. Laughs are weaved into almost every second of the film so you are guaranteed a good time. A silly romantic comedy drawn to my attention with the knowledge of such a terrific cast. From Charlie Sheen to Ryan Stiles, this is a must-see and a must-have! If you like this one, be sure to check out Hot Shots part deux, which is equal in both laughs and love.
Rating: Summary: Hysterical! Review: This is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen! The dialogue between the characters is hysterical. My husband and constantly quote from it, the lines are so great. The actors are fantastic as well. Charlie Sheen is magnificent, as is Cary Elwes and the rest of the cast. If you like spoofs, buy this one, you won't be disappointed.
Rating: Summary: Pass the eggs & bacon please! Review: This movie is great! It has laughs all through the movie! Even at the semi-romantic part at the end when Topper (Sheen) pulls out to steaks to cook on his girlfriend's stomach. Lloyd Bridges is brilliant in this movie! The only bad part of this movie is that Ryan Stiles did not get more screen time. Other funny parts are when the Admiral drops his hat and demands somebody goes out on a raft for days looking for it, Mailman get's shot mistaken for a deer, everybody in the Air Force is somehow linked toward the killer and victim, & when washout tells the victim's child that he didn't have 2nd's. Two of the characters that stick out in my mind are Washout and Deadmeat. If you like comedy you will love this movie.
Rating: Summary: THE GREATEST COMEDY.. Review: This movie is utterly genious.. i have but one question.. WHERE IS THE DVD??
Rating: Summary: Awesome!! Review: This movie was good, and hilarious. This first installment in the Hot Shots! series is hilarious. The gags in this movie range from the subtle like the guys dancing out the window when Lloyd Bridges character(Admiral Benson I think) is talking, to the outlandish like the incredible stretchiness of Topper's dad. I'm sure many critics dismiss this as a mindless spoof, but I think a lot of thought and effort went in to it. It's totally Sweet, and the next one in the series is even better.
Rating: Summary: Did I mention pratfalls? Review: You don't need a lot of brainpower to absorb this movie. It goes for the cheapest laughs it can find. To name three: pratfalls, pratfalls and more pratfalls. Sometimes it works -- especially when Lloyd Bridges is on the screen -- and sometimes the jokes fall flat. You're bound to get a few chuckles, and at only 90 minutes, it's doesn't require a big time commitment. Some of the jokes are so quick, you might have to watch it over to get them.
Rating: Summary: In the same vein as The Naked Gun, which means hilarity! Review: ZAZ strikes again! Although this was directed by Jim Abrahams, I'm sure that the 2 Zuckers were involved somehow. The 2 Hot Shots, along with the Naked Gun trilogy, compose an important chunk of my all-time favorite cinematic gems. Charlie Sheen gives a fantastic straight-arrow performance. He nails every joke. Lloyd Bridges is his usual comical self. I laughed during the whole "war memories" scene, and his half-cyborg body. He must be Dr. Meadors's brother. I also loved the entire bar scene, especialy with Charles Barkley and Bil Laimbeer. I highly recommend this movie and its sequel to anyone who loves the ZAZ movies. Trust me, you'll laugh the entire movie.
