Summary: More Powers to ya'
Review: International Man of Mystery Austin Powers (Mike Myers) returns in this second Bond spoof. And in one of those Hollywood rarities, it is a better film then its predecessor. many of the same gags make appearances in this film but the addition of heavy-weight Scotsman Fat Bastard (Meyers in fascinating make-up) and Dr. Evil quarter size clone Mini-Me (Vern Troyer), this film aims oh so much higher. (Well, not too high... It still aims pretty low...) Beautiful Heather Graham is the latest Powers girl but she doesn't add the respectability of Elizabeth Hurley (who added class just with her marvelous British accent.) With this film, Powers himself is quickly becoming the straight man to the humor. This is a good thing. Dr Evil on the Jerry Springer show just adds to the pop culture phenomenon that the film sets out to parody. The Loaded DVD has many fun things including a hidden 'Easter egg' mock-umentary about Doctor Evil. This film puts the grrr in Danger.

Summary: An funny sequel(Which it`s has alot of [Sick] Humor).
Review: After Austin Powers (Mike Myers) has discover his wife is a Femmebot. Dr. Evil (Also Myers) has come back to Earth to try to make peace with his son (Seth Green) but Dr. Evil`s Partner (Mindy Sterling) has made a small clone of Dr. Evil named Mini-Me (Verne Troyer). Dr. Evil has created a time machine to go in the pass to Steal Austin Mojo! When Austin know his Mojo is gone, he goes back in the Pass to get back his Mojo, while he`s teamed up with attractive blonde (Heather Graham), who is a Spy.

Directed by Jay Roach (Meet the Parents, Mystery-Alaska) has made a entertaining fantasy comedy mixed the Spoof gerne. Verne Troyer steals the show, when he`s on screen. One of the highest grossing films of 1999. DVD`s has an sharp anamorphic Widescreen (2.35:1) transfer and a strong Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound. DVD Extras are:an running commentary track by Director, Actor and Co-Screenwriter of the film. Deleted Scenes, Outtakes, Behind the Scenes featurette and More. This is not as clever than the Original but it`s still a very funny film. Super 35. Grade:B+.

Summary: 1st time=nauseating, next 500 times=hilarious
Review: Okay, the scene towards the middle of the movie involving a questionable cup of "coffee" is vomit-inducing every time I watch the movie.

Nonetheless, I was laughing throughout this movie. A significant amount of the humor involved sexual innuendos (sp?), which may not appeal to many people.

A nice addition to your DVD collection. Though I watched it constantly when I first purchased the DVD, I still look through my favorite scenes periodically.

Summary: An awful movie!
Review: This movie is really crazy and has a lot of pointless comedy. Mike Myers is already such a sick-looking guy and this movie has portrayed him to be the God of sickness.

This movie can really drive you mad. I would give it just 1 star cause this movie's really vague. You can watch it once but I don't think that its a good purchase.

Summary: More Hillarious than the First
Review: The first one was pretty hillarious, but this one is even better.
Here's the overview:
Austin Powers (Mike Myers) is a flop-James Bond guy, with his major attraction to women. At the beginning, his wife explodes and turns out to be a fem-bot. He then goes out and relizes he's single again. Meanwhile, a glick in the Scotish Army Fat*****, steals Austin Power's 'Mojo'. So, Austin Powers travels back to the sixties in his time portal, designed by Basil Expedition. He then meets up with a character played by Heather Graham. See the movie to see what happens.
The story is way better than that. The comedy in this movie is the type that never goes away. The first time you see the movie, you'll have a stomach ache. The next 1000 times you will laugh 26 times. This movie is the standard of excellence in the comedy field of movies. Don't miss it! :)

Summary: Dr Evil and Mini Me Steal The Show
Review: The great thing about this movie and owning it on DVD is that you don't need to watch the whole movie all the time, you can just pick and choose all your favourite funniest scenes and replay them, whenever you want to cheer yourself up. The movie is really only a collection of comic set-pieces anyway, some better than others but all of a pretty high standard, such as the silhouette scene of Austin Powers and Filicity Shagwell (Heather Graham) unpacking their bags in the tent. However, the best scenes are undoubtedly the ones featuring Myers as Dr Evil and Mini Me, the cut down clone of Dr Evil (brilliantly played Verne J.Troyer), such as the "Just The Two Of Us" parody. I'm Scottish and I have to say that Myers does a great west coast Scottish accent and so also very funny in a disgusting sort of way is Myers other creation Fat Bastard, a Scottish assassin who makes love to Filicity Shagwell in one of the scenes that will make you laugh and cringe in equal measures. Fortunately we don't witness the sexual act itself I may add.

This is a superior follow up to Austin Powers. Bigger budget, better script, more laughs. I wasn't an enormous fan of the first film, I did like it, it had it's moments but I wanted to like it more. I think Mike Myers is the funniest man around at the moment and this movie made me laugh more than any other film since There's Something About Mary. So if you've never seen The Spy Who Shagged Me but have seen Theres Something About Mary, then you'll get the idea of the intellectual level this is pitched at. Don't get me wrong, I'd consider myself to be intelligent but the humour in this movie is often physical but wonderfully infantile, which totally appeals to my childish sense of humour. If you are looking for intellectual comedy you wont find it here. If you don't like toilet humour, you'll hate this movie but for what it's worth I, like millions of others love this movie.

Summary: Austion Powers
Review: Great movie although there are alot of people who seem not to agree, any way i laughed my a** off while watching this movie and its ones of those movies who gets funnier every time you see it so thats another reason to own the dvd

A lot of people say this movie isn't as good as the first i totally agree, the first had a better shape and the jokes where fresh and thick but this one is funny too and its not like were talking about something artistic here , its Austin powers and yes it stupid actually the funniest thing about the movie is its stupidity, major plot holes are there intentionally to make even more stupider let alone the plot it self "Austin lost his mojo!!"

Point is great funny movie worth buying so go for it.

Summary: Quite possibly the biggest letdown I've ever experienced!
Review: Now, first off let me say that I absolutely adored the first film. The jokes came thick and fast, they were actually funny and it had Liz Hurly to boot. The sequel however, has unfunny jokes that come thick and fast, no script structure and virtually no laughs. I laughed literally at 3 instances in this movie. And it wasn't even a laugh; it was a smile at best. What the producers seemed to have learned is that instead of actually putting jokes into the script, they can simply have Myers walk around and do that accent for 2 hours. This is passed off as comedy to Americans, who seem to find this highly amusing. Thus, after leaving the theatre, I was greeted with a chorus of irritating 13 - 18 year old males saying (in the worst possible accents) "Shag me, baby!" and "Oh behave". Now they may think this is cute, but trust me, it gets annoying after the first 500 times!

Summary: Smashing baby!
Review: Not only is this a fabulous movie, it's a great DVD. I've watched this film over 30 times and it still makes me laugh every time. It's got some great bits that are destined to becomes classic.

Unlike the first movie, Austin Powers takes a backseat to the Dr. Evil and Fat Bastard characters in this film, he is not the funniest character in the movie. Mike Myers really refined his Dr. Evil for this go around and every time he's on screen it's pure sugar in a bag it's so good.

Needless to say, everybody probably knows the Austin Powers films and either loves them or hates them, so I'll talk about the disc itself, and it is phenomenal. Get rid of that pan and scan VHS tape because this baby is in Widescreen! The menus are fully animated with Austin himself and the extras are great, particularly Dr. Evil's secret page. It also includes three music videos, the best of which is Madonna's Beautiful Stranger. And don't even get me started on the deleted scenes because they are the best deleted scenes I have ever seen on any DVD bar none, and most are extremely funny and worthy or remaining in the completed film, which is usually not the case with cut scenes. The disc's commentary also hints that there was hours more footage that the filmmakers were unable to include in the finished film due to length. It's too bad they couldn' t have included all of that in this package. And speaking of the commentary, it's quite good. A little dry when discussing technical details, but Mike Myers always livens it back up.

Bottom line: A must-have for fans.
