Summary: All About Shagging!!!
Review: In Austin Powers- The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999), Dr. Evil (Mike Myers) travels back in time to 1969 to steal Austin Powers (Mike Myers) mojo while he is cryogenically frozen. Powers' starts to notice that he is having trouble in the womanizing area, and decides to follow Dr. Evil and get his mojo back. Powers hooks up with the American spygirl, CIA Felicity Shagwell (Heather Graham), and together they go on a hunt for Powers' mojo. Powers also has to stop Dr. Evil from destroying the planet with his "Alan Parsons Project", a giant laser.

Dr. Evil's clone, Mini-Me (Verne J. Troyer), is an exact replica of Evil, only 1/8 of his size. Mini-Me soon replaces Evil's son, Scott Evil (Seth Green), to become the high-light of Evil's life. The pint sized Evil is a barrel of laughs. Added to this sequel is also Fat Bastard (suprise! also played by Myers). This name is very fitting to the grotesque character. If you enjoy disgusting body gestures, then Fat Bastard is a character you will like.

Myers won the American Comedy Award in 2000 for funniest actor in a motion picture. This award was well deserved by Myers, because of his versatillity.

This comedy, directed by Jay Roach is perfect for viewers who enjoy crude remarks, grotesque comedy, and too many references to phallicism.

This color film has an awesome soundtrack. Dr. Evil singing "Just the Two of Us" to his new little buddy is hysterically funny!

I rated this film a 3, because I am not a big fan of grotesque comedy. I feel that disgusting bodily habits should be left at home in private, and not displayed for the public. However; if you are a fan of such ridicule, this is unquestionably a movie you will appreciate.

Summary: The best of the three. Buy this one first.
Review: This is no doubt the best of the Austin Powers series. In the 5-star sequel, Austin must travel to 1969 to prevent Dr. Evil from taking over the world. Plus there's two new villains: Fat B@$!@%d (also played by Mike Myers) And Mini-Me (Verne Troyer), who are working for Dr. Evil and present many hilarious occurences even when they're off-screen.

Summary: This movie is gross
Review: This movie is grosser than the first and the third is probably the worst. Gross out humor is not funny or amusing. Movies like Austin Powers appeals to the lowest level of intelligence. It is a shame that college students finds this garbage funny. There are scenes that are too disgusting to describe.

The story centers around Austin Powers and his arch rival Dr. Evil. Dr. Evil has a clone called Mini Me. I gave this film two stars instead of one because Micheal Myers was generally funny as Austin Powers and Dr. Evil.

Summary: No, Mini-Me, We Do Not Gnaw On Our Kitty.
Review: This is the BEST Austin Powers movie. Better then International Man Of Mystery or Goldmember.
Dr. Evil in a Starbucks spaceneedle, a parody of Will Smith's "Just The Two Of Us" and tons of silly sight gags.
I think the most popular part of this movie is when Dr. Evil starts repeating "ZIP IT!" over, over and over again. After this movie came out on VHS, the affects started to show. There was one kid at school who repeated this Zip It thing when somebody got on his nerves. Actually, he was more annoying then we were.
My favorite part is when Dr. Evil asks Mini-Me if he wants a Hot Pocket or an Eggo and Mini-Me wants to bite Mini-Mr. Bigglesworth's ear off. He's just a vicious little thing! Mini-Me just tries to attack everybody! He isn't cute or cuddly at all! Well, not until Dr. Evil shows him his 'evil daddy love'.
Austin, well, yes, he's the usual swinger. He's got quite the sex drive for a complete nerd.

Summary: On The Groovy Train
Review: The second Austin Powers film is almost as good as the original film. This time, Dr. Evil (Mike Myers) travels back in time to 1969 to steal Austin's (Myers) mojo while he is still frozen. Powers decides to follow him and reclaim his most valued asset. Oh yeah, he must also stop Evil, from liquidating the entire planet The superspy is teamed with a CIA operative, Felicity Shagwell (Heather Graham), who lends a helping hand. Dr. Evil also clones himself--the end result?-pint sized Mini Me (Verne Troyer) who idolizes Evil.

Directed by Jay Roach, the film is pure lunacy, and Myers is in top form. He scenes as Evil are really funny, even as he he adds a third character to the roles he plays in the film (Fat Bastard) Graham keeps up with all of this craziness by letting herself have fun. She is a worthy successor, to Elizabeth Hurley (From the first film), who also has a cameo at the beginning of this movie. The Jerry Springer bit is a howler, The Evil Song, and the opening credits highlight the film, but the laughs don't end with those examples, to be sure.

The DVD from New Line has a Mojo-filled commetary track with Roach, Myers, and Co-writer Mike McCullers There are also some 20 minutes of deleted scenes that are pretty funny, a behind the scenes feature, a Comedy Central "canned ham" show on Dr. Evil, a handful of music videos, theatrical trailers, and DVD-ROM content. The film can be viewed in either widescreen or full frame fomat. It's up to you. The DVD is recommended with ****Stars

Summary: Just as good as the original
Review: This one was just as good as the original. It is one of my favorite comedies of all time. My favorite characters are Mini-Me and Fat Bastard. This was a really funny movie.

Summary: FUNNIEST MOVIE ON EARTH
Review: This is funny as F**K. Its awesome. Phat A## Scenes and awesome comedy.

Summary: A very funny movie
Review: This movie was by far the funniest of the powers series. It has non stop jokes and the first and the third movie don't eaven come close to this one. First of all it has some great new characters including the funniest character in the movies minime. Plus I was really happy to see Elizebeth Hurley's character replaced by Heather Graham she does a much better job and is way Hotter than Hurley. Plus this one has a much better plot than the first and is much better than goldmember. All together this is a great movie.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A worthy sequel.
Review: Austin Powers-The Spy Who Shagged Me is a very worthy sequel, but laggs in several places. The movie starts with Austin (Mike Myers) and his wife Vanessa (Elizabeth Hurley)in a hotel room, right after they get married. But then its revealed that she is A FEMBOT!!! GASP!! So, taking her place as Powers girl is super hot Heather Grahamn (Say It Isn't So) as sexy super spy Felicity Shagwell. Dr. Evil is at it again, this time trying to take over the world by taking away Austins most important feature: his mojo.

Unlike the first Powers movie, this one doesn't use its plot as a source of most of its jokes, but instead drops many funny situations for Felicty and Austin. Although its not as humourous as the first one, its still strikes on a good note. One of the funniest scenes of all time is Fat Bastard crying at the end and saying the line, " I need to get in touch with somebody and appalogize....me."

Summary: A Minor Setback
Review: Ok I agree with jjcx about how they recycled every single joke from the first one, I felt the same way after seeing it for the first time back in June '99, but it's still a funny movie (not as good as the first one though). And this and the other movies may have spawned a plethora of annoying Powers impersonators. But wishing that Mike Myers had never been born is a tad severe. It wasn't really a major disapointment as most people said, I wasn't expecting it to be as good as the first one. But the fact remains plain and simple, This is still a funny movie that anyone should consider buying.

Mike Myers plays 3 funny roles (Austin, Dr. Evil, and Fat Bastard)well 4 if you include "Past Austin." However Heather Graham's (Felicity Shagwell)performance falls short of extraordinary, not as good as Elizabeth Hurley's in the first one at least.

It doesn't just reuse jokes from IMOM like most people say. It also had a few funny gags of its own, for example, the tent shadow scene and the Rocket that looks like a big... well you can figure that one else for your self.

My overall take on this movie is this. Although it's made up of a lot of jokes from the first AP and I eventually got tired of watching it, I would still consider buying the DVD (even though I already have the VHS, I'm a big fan) you should too.
