Summary: Shag-a-dellic baby!
Review: Before i saw this movie, i had got mixed reviews. The only reason i really saw it at the theatre was because my girlfriend wanted to and it was either that or some other cruddy movie. Personally, i enjoyed the sequel much more than the first one. This one seemed to explain about the new characters, instead of leaving the job of guessing up to you like the first one. Though the movie was funny (in that kind of JUST A SMIRK and dumb funny)the plot was slow and stupid. I would only suggest buying the dvd because of Heather Graham (for the guys). After a couple of times watching it, it became stupid and not funny. I would really give it 3.5 stars, but i cant, so i gave it the benefit of the doubt and i'm giving it a 4.

Summary: The video that shagged me
Review: I could not conceive of the circumstances for which I would spend actual money on this video. I rented it recently and found the humor mindless, in the same vain as dumb and dumber. I realize that lots of American rave about this kind of humor, but it frankly stumps me to consider the level of sophistocation in this kind of production...Oh, look a geeky guy gets a beautiful girl by acting like and idiot..that slays me. Don't waste your money, even if it is just curiosity that drives you.

Summary: Together with "Notting Hill", the best comedy of the year!
Review: I didn't expect this movie to be so much fun, because I have never before seen a good comedy with this much jokes about sex. So when "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery" came out, I didn't even think about watching it. But when "Austin Powers 2: The Spy who Shagged Me" came out and became a huge succes, I descided to watch part 1... and I loved it! I liked especially Dr. Evil, he is the best character ever created in comedy history!

Then I heard that part 2 was a lot better, so I watched it as soon as it came out on DVD. And they were right. So don't think this is a stupid comedy about sex, because it's very clear that the writers have thought about every joke very well (which is very unusual for this genre) !

And if you liked "Austin Powers 1", you'll love "Austin Powers 2".

Summary: Ladies and gentlemen I am about to travel through time.....
Review: You must have been living under a rock for the last three or so years if you are not familiar with Austin Powers and Doctor Evil and their abundance of instantly recognisable catchphrases. The sequel to the very popular Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery takes the ideas from the first film and turns them on its head. Instead of having two people from the sixties living in the nineties, we send Austin and Dr. Evil (who have now acclimatised to the nineties) back to the late 1960s. Love it or loathe it, The Spy Who Shagged me is one of the funniest films ever made. The DVD is also very good, with an excellent audio and visual digital transfer. The extra features are spectacular, with hilarious directors commentary, deleted scenes that you wonder why they were dropped from the final film and a huge range of other treats. A SPECIAL HIDDEN MENU which is accessed by going to the 'special features' menu and leaveing it for about 2 mins then a special Dr Evil symbol appears click on it for some extra hidden features Even the animated menus are brilliant. The Spy Who Shagged Me is a DVD that should be everybody's collection.

Summary: ONE OF THE WORST EVER
Review: I cannot tell you how bad this film is. There are not enough words in the english language to describe how DISGUSTING this "blockbuster" manages to be. The character of "Fat Bastard" is a sickening stereotype that enrages me so much I pass out. The "Plot" is contradicting, illogical and erratic. Everything about this movie makes me want to buy every copy and destroy them. I would destroy every print of this film in the whole world if I could. Austin Powers is one of the most annoying characters ever created. If he is supposed to be British why does he have such a stupid name? No British people have names like that. Especially in the '60s. He was obviously born in the '30s or late '20s. People didn't have name like that then! Duh! Every single character in this movie is a PATHETIC stereotype and I advise you to steer clear. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD stear clear!

Summary: What a bore!
Review: If you liked the first Austin Powers, rent it again. The second one only offers a few more sexy women and dull, boring jokes (if you can call them jokes). One of Meyer's worst films. Get So I Married an Axe Murderer if you want outlandish comedy. Not this. The funniest thing about this movie is the paradies my friends make about it.

Summary: The DVD who shagged my wallet
Review: This overrated comedy is a mediocre attempt to make a parody of a James Bond moovie the moovie is outright boring the story and the dialogs too childish. However the moovie merits from one of the best scores I've heard in moovies for a long while and the DVD edition especially is a showcase of this medium capabilities. This edition benefits from Dolby digital sound and extras like the video clips of three songs from the moovie's score , notable among them the super hit "Beautiful Stranger" by Madonna. Apart from that there is a documentary a feature length commentary and the cinema trailers. All in all if you are in for extras this DVD does it for you interactive menu and deleted scenes included but if your interest is more substantial, this moovie is really nothing to be remembered and you will barelly watch it more than once unless of course you are a Heather Graham fan !
