Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Funny Sequel
Review: 4 1/2 stars Just as funny as the original these are 2 classic comedies. Too bad there wasn't a part 3 like it says on the video tape.

Summary: Deja Vu?
Review: After seeing this movie, I felt like it was the same movie just with some line and character changes. Both have an old lady who dies listening to Robert Hays, it was funny in the first one but, come on, think of something different. Also, both talk about him escaping from the mental hospital. We know about that already it does not need to be said again, and I could go on and on. I laughed, but not because of this one, because it reminds me of the first one. The original part in this one that made me laugh was the court scene, other than that it is just an experience in deja vu. GRADE: D+

Summary: Not as Good As the First One
Review: Don't worry, there are still lots of laughs! It's the same type of humor as the first one. I love the scenes where they translate the jive in the subtitles.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Funnier than the original!!!!
Review: This movie as even better than the original Airplane! (If that's possible) It has the same kind of simple humor the made Airplane! a classic. If you don't love slapstick, DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE. If slapstick is right up your alley, buy this movie. RIGHT NOW!

Summary: Very, Very Funny!
Review: This is just as good as the original! If you liked the original, you'll love this one!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: It's no "Airplane!", but its still worthwhile
Review:
Lots of similar humor from the legendary original gets recycled here, though that's not necessarily a bad thing; anyone who likes these rapid-fire parodies should still add it to their collection. The most fun addition to this sequel has to be William Shatner, whose over-earnestness actually is welcomed in this kind of movie. All the silly stuff going on at his moon base is the highlight of the film, at least for me.

It doesn't compare to the original, though that's a pretty tall order anyway; many people put it on the short list of funniest all-time films. I'm a fan of this genre and give Airplane II four stars, but only three for the DVD, due to the lack of the extra scenes sometimes shown on the TV version and lack of any commentaries/extras.

Summary: SHATNER SAVES THIS MOVIE
Review: From going into the toilet as it is almost a total rehash reemake of the original Airplane. He is a welcome breath of fresh air as a guy who knew Striker in the war and Shat now works at (inspiringly) a base in outer space. Best lines in the film are Shat's by far! Ssh! Ssh!

Summary: SILLY BUT FUN
Review: As in the original AIRPLANE, there are so many sight gags and one liners going on, it's hard to keep up with them, but the movie made me laugh a lot. Comparing it to the original is natural, but given we have a different director and a different approach, it is best to let it stand on its own. And I found it did for me.
Robert Hays and Julie Hagerty are back as the starstruck lovers and the bit where she removes her bobby pin to give to Hays is truly funny. Stephen Shucker is back, although he's not used as much, but his one liners are still hilarious. Peter Graves returns as the pilot who likes little boys; Lloyd Bridges is back as the flight commander; Chuck Connors and William Shatner are fun in their brief roles, and we get nice bits from Chad Everett, Raymond Burr, Rip Torn, John Dehner and John Vernon.
I like this corny type of humor, for some reason, but when a movie makes me laugh this much, who cares about its faults?

Summary: Airplane2
Review: This movie is not what I expected. All they did was copy the same jokes from Airplane!. I think that Abraham Zucker&Zucker could have done it better.

Summary: Missing so many scenes!!
Review: Okay, we all know this isn't the best sequel out there but it has its moments. However I find it SHAMEFUL that this version is missing many scenes that are shown on TV. (Simon in escape pod, Sonny Bono's reason for being on the flight, The Sarge explaining potential bomb damage, Striker reading 'Modern Electronics', the list goes on!) Why leave out scenes on a DVD is beyond me.
