I hope they'll be a new digital transfer, and hopefully this isn't the same commentary track mel brooks did on it's first dvd release. anyway, i'm glad it's own a 2-disc set.
Rating: Summary: Your helmet is so big and round... Review: Yes Druish princesses are always attracted to money and power and I have both!
This was the first Mel Brooks movie, I had ever seen and I was impressed. The movie follows the plot of Star Wars perfectly adding in jokes and and merchandsing references only the way Mel Brooks can.
Rating: Summary: The best movie EVER!!!!! Review: If you have any sense WHAT SO EVER, you will LOVE this movie. This is the BEST movie you could ever see. Mel Brooks had a pure stroke of genius when he made this movie. If you don't see this movie, you are missing out on a part of our culture.
Rating: Summary: Actually, I'm a mog! Review: Spaceballs, the Mel Brooks spoof of Star Wars and Star Trek, met all the expectations Mel Brooks set out for. Spaceballs is humorous. Sure, the plot wasn't great, but you quickly forget about that with sidesplitting notions such as John Candy in a dog suit and a giant hairdryer. If you want a movie that involves a lot of thinking, Spaceballs isn't for you. However, if you want a comedy that you can sit down and watch anytime, I recommend Spaceballs.
Rating: Summary: Spaceballs(1987)***** Review: The great Mel Brooks has done it once again. This extremely funny movie is basically a comedy version of "Star Wars".Its the story of Lone Star and his sidekick Ralph(John Candy), who are asked to rescue Princess Vespa from Lord Helmet(Rick Moranis), who has taken her hostage.Accepting the job from her father the King of planet Druidia for a million space bucks, they go in for the kill(figure of speech). When they finally save, Lord Helmet still trys to come after them, but in the end they get taken out.You will get a kick out of this movie.Definetly see it.
