Summary: Clever To The End(s)
Review: Why this movie didn't make the Top 100 comedy movies of the last hundred years is beyond me. "Clue" succeeds at keeping a steady comic pace and never leaving its viewers bored in between gags. You'd have to be a carrot not to laugh your stomach sore at this one. I'd also recommend "Noises Off" which is another play/movie of a similar comedic vein.

Summary: The Greatest
Review: This movie is the best movie ever! It's really hilarious. This movie gets better because of the three endings! My favorite line in the movie: "It's like the Mounties, we always get our man" "Mrs. Peacock was a man?"

This movie is a must-see!

Summary: One of the BEST Comedies Ever...
Review: I must go along with the majority of the other reviewers and say that this is definitely one of the best comedies EVER. And how could it not be? The cast is superb, especially Madeline Khan and Eileen Brennan. Clue has some of the best one liners every written for the screen. A definite must see for those who haven't. (And shame on the American Film Institute for not even including Clue on the ballot for their 100 Best Comedies! I mean, how could you not include Clue? I want a new list!)

Summary: My favourite movie of all time.....
Review: Both Tim Curry and Madeline Kahn give one of the best performances of their careers in this one. I was always a fan of the board game, but when this movie came out, I went wild. I already have worn out one VHS copy from watching so many times. Madeline's facial expressions, witty dialogue, and incredibly timely vocalisms just make me burst into laughter every time I watch it. the ending when the butler is reliving the entire evening for the guests is hysterical......and evette smiled (ding)! :)

A Must have! An all star cast, and the three different endings give the viewer something funny to look forward to each time. Personally I think that none of the endings is how it really happened :) And if you watch closely, you can figure out the REAL ending that they SHOULD have filmed :)

Summary: The Gretest Movie Ever! A Must See!
Review: This is without a doubt the best movie ever! I first saw this movie with my dad at the age of ten and I loved it! I fell out of my chair I was laughing so hard! Tim Curry was absolutely hilarious as was Madaline Kahn and Christopher Lloyd. I got this video when I was 11 and as soon as I came home from school I would put it in the VCR. I can't believe that communism was just a red herring! My favorite parts were when the Singing Telegram Girl got shot and when Wadsworth hurredly described the course of events at the end (Too late!) I highly reccomend this movie for anyone looking for a good family movie or any movie buff!

Review: Clue is one of those movies you just can't be serious with. It's fun!

While I have yet to see the DVD version, therefore unable to comment on the actual quality of the DVD reproduction, the movie is quite wonderful. It is fun seeing the perfect sets, the eloquent actors and the bizarre and hilarious situations. The fast one-liners, zingers, and physical commedy is all at its finest here. A fun movie, but don't expect too much mystery either...

Summary: THE BEST MOVIE EVER
Review: The first time I saw this movie I was 8. Since then this has been my favorite movie. The puns, political jokes, and the amazing acting makes this movie a necessity for any movie collection. I strongly recommend CLUE. As soon as you watch it you will be hooked. My favorite line: -"You cannot make an omelet with out breaking eggs. Any cook will tell you that!" -"But look what happened to the cook!"

Summary: Campy comedy at it's best
Review: Sporting a star-studded cast with the late, great Madeline Kahn, Lesley Ann Warren, Tim Curry, Eileen Brennan, Christopher Lloyd and a host of others, Clue takes you on a comical trip through a party gone bad. I first saw this movie when I was 8 and in love with the board game and loved it. I didn't get all of the jokes, but that is what growing up is for. The pop-culture refernces are more fun than a stainless steel barrel full of monkeys (case in point) and the three endings only add to the confusion. The parts are all exagerated to their fullest potential, leaving us with a great movie that was never over-acted, melodramatic (in the bad sense, at least) or predicatble. This is definitely one to own!

Summary: A Camp Classic!
Review: From top to bottom, "Clue" is one of the funniest movies ever made. It's loved everywhere, and has garnered a sort of cult status among teenagers and young people. It's easy to see why. Armed with a wild all-starr cast, a script so witty that it takes many viewings to catch everything, a strong sense of comedy and mystery, fun music (the dramatic theme song, the 'running' music, "Shake Rattle and Roll," and "Sh-Boom" will never leave your mind again!), and beautiful sets, costumes, and photograraphy, it was destined for greatness from the start

The all-star cast is wonderful, each shamelessly (and successfully) going way over-the-top, gleefully reveling in their characters' idiocy. The best are Eileen Brennan as scatterbrained Mrs. Peacock; the late, great Madeline Kahn as the snippy, sarcastic, slightly daffy Mrs. White; Michael McKean (at his best here) as wimpy, clumsy Mr. Green; and the master, Tim Curry, as impish, persnickety butler Wadsworth, who really plays his role with a wink. And young guys will enjoy eye candy Coleen Camp as the token French maid, Yvette.

Great moments are everywhere, filled with slapstick and broad humor (as well as some that'll fly right over your head), and the unforgetteable, Oscar-worthy script showcases some of the best dialogue and one-liners ever written. ("He was always a rather stupidly optimistic man; I'm afraid it came as a great shock to him when he died..." "Do you like Kipling, Miss Scarlet?" Her reply: "Sure, I'll eat anything." And then there's Mrs. Peacock's speech at the dinner table...) "Clue" is sure to delight anyone fortunate enough to stumble upon it.

Summary: Clue Review
Review: I first watched this film about 10 years ago when I was only 9. I found it very funny then and a decade later I can still remember the hilarious quotes from the script! Some people may view it as silly, but that's part of its charm...I have finally ordered myself a copy and I can't wait to see it again!
