Summary: Classic humor burried inside an interesting plot
Review: This movie is somewhere between cult classic and family standard. The comedy of Peter Sellers is amazing and the plot is completly original...One of the best movies of the last quarter of a century.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Wonderful Comedy and a great film!!
Review: I liked this movie!! There are brilliant actors especially Peter Sellers and Christopher Plummer!! It has funny lines like when Peter Sellers lost his pants in The Phantom's study's chair!! I also have heard that Julie Andrews got a cameo role but ended up on the cutting room floor!! It is very wonderful film for the entire family!!

Summary: A few laughs
Review: Not as funny as the Panther Strikes Again. That was a non-stop laugh riot.

Peter Sellers is the only funny part of this movie, and there are long, drawn-out, boring parts with straight characters Plummer and some other chickie.

Boring.

Should be more Sellers.

Summary: The Return of Peter Sellers as Inspector Clouseau
Review: After ten whole years, Blake Edwards and Peter Sellers are return in the same funny story: The diamont of the Pink Panther is missing and the generals of Loughas won't Inspector Clouseau to find it. Iven if Sellers' playing is --always-- perfect, the film was having two big fauls (wrongs): Catherine Schell's Lady Litton performance is awfull and Christopher Plummer's Sir Charles Litton has nothing to do with David Niven's Sir C. Litton in 1963. Any way, on the other hand, this film has munny funny scenes. Followed by THE PINK PANTHER STRIKES AGAIN, the most PERFECT comedy in the famous series.

Summary: The Funniest of the Panther Movies
Review: I have seen the Pink Panther Movies and believe that this is the funniest of them all. With added characters from the first one and all of the countries that the movie uses makes this a must see.

Summary: The Funniest Movie
Review: The Return of the Pink Panther is the best movie I have ever seen. Peter Sellers is perfect in the role of the bumbling French Chief Inspector Clouseu. This movie will keep you laughing thoughout the entire length. I have seen all of the Pink Panther Movies, and this is the best. The classic "Do you have a room" line with his fake French accent is funny every time I see it. I also always enjoy his encounters with Kato. I recommend this movie and I think you should buy it on DVD because it is a better format with a sharper image. Amazon.com is the place to order it also because of the prompt delivery and good pricing. Enjoy this classic comedy!

Summary: Peter Sellers: The Greatest Comedian of all time
Review: All of Peter Sellers films in The Pink Panther Series are absolutely hilarious. Blake Edwards was wise in casting peter for the role of the bumbling French detctive. I have never laughed so hard in my life. I first saw his films at the age of 10 or 12, Im 21 now and as I watch them over and over again I still end up in tears of laughter. The Cast consists of brilliant actors including Herbert Lom, Burt Kwouk even Christopher Plummer in The Return of The Pink Panther. I would love to see the Pink Panther movies out in theaters again, to see them on the big screen in all of its humor. Peter Sellers really makes the series absolutely humorous. I recomend the films to anyone who is in need of some serious laughing and cheering up.

Summary: Your minkey is against the leu
Review: What could be funnier than Peter Sellers trying to get his suitcase through a revolving door? Maybe Peter Sellers trying to vacuum near a birdcage while disguised as a hotel orderly or maybe Herbert Lom trying to figure out why his pistol won't fire by looking into the barrel as he pulls the trigger or maybe the animated opening of this film with a Pink Panther cartoon providing the backdrop for the credits. It is all here. This should be amusing even for today's sophisticated skateboard crowd. If you like The Three Stooges or Bill Murray or anything in between this should be a good choice for you. The music is great, of course. If you would like to hear a bluegrass version of The Pink Panther Theme try "Country Fried TV Tunes" in the music section. If you like over the top inept detective films, try "Cheap Detective" or "Murder by Death." Tom Willett

Summary: Return of the Pink Panther is a 5-star
Review: In the third installation of the Pink Panther series, after a ten-year hiatus, Peter Sellers and Blake Edwards returned to make the Pink Panther series a winning franchise. This time Clouseau is hired to find the diamond and encounters some of the clumsiest moments and has the best disguises. Possibly one of the best in the entire series.
