Summary: Year Round
Review: I admit it....I watch this movie years round. YES! Even in July. It is such an up lifting movie with great lines, songs, and acting. And who thought you would ever see Danny Kaye and Bing Crosby in drag??!!!! A MUST SEE any time of the year.

Summary: George Clooney's Aunt Rosie with Der Bingle
Review: This movie has been as annual a tradition with me as it is with the networks, I'm not going to just repeat the plot and stars as given above, and it was the source of a number of pop songs of the mid-fifties (I'm not going to repeat the list as given above either). Except they left out what I feel is the best song in whole the thing: "Love, You Didn't Do Right By Me", the solo number Auntie Rosie did in a club gig after walking out on Bing and "sister" Vera Ellen. That one didn't even get airplay like so many of the others. It was the one song that displayed Clooney at what she was best at--the torch song. It must have been that side of Clooney that inspired later stars like Streisand. And you had to watch a holiday movie to hear it.

Summary: Don't Restrict it to Christmas
Review: I have been swept off my feet by this movie ever since the very first time I saw it, and I continue to enjoy it time after time. What the critics seem to be missing is the value of the classic Americana and old-fashioned kindness that this White Christmas displays at great length. Not only will you feel the warming twinge of Christmas spirit when everyone joins in for a final send-off of White Christmas, but you will also fall under the spell of love, patriotism, and the twinkle in Bing Crosby's smile. I am 15 years old and not afraid to say that I have seen this movie over 50 times because after you've seen it once you'll want to see it again and again. Whether it's the middle of July or the dead of winter you can always enjoy your own little white christmas.

Summary: All you could ever want in a Christmas movie.
Review: A full colour glory in VistaVision that'll warm your heart at Christmas or any time of the year. Bing, Danny, Rosie and Vera-Ellen sing and dance their way through a variety of Berlin songs that range from the sublime (White Christmas) to the ridiculous (What Can You Do With a General) with enough verve to win over Scrooge. Don't worry yourself with the plot, just enjoy it!

Five things i love about this movie:

1, Our four heroes in the train buffet 'Snow, Snow, Snow, SNOW!'

2, Mary Pierce as the General's housekeeper...(and head of Busybodies anonymous)

3, Rosie looking edible in 'that dress', singing 'Love, you didn't do right by me' (Look out for George Chakiris, the epitome of cool in a black turtleneck)

4, From the Minstrel Show...'How can you stop an angry dog from biting you on monday?...That joke is old, the answer is....' Well you'll just have to watch it to see!

5, 'Gee! I wish i was back in the army!' A million handsome guys, with longing in their eyes. And all you have to do is pick the age, the weight, the size, oh gee, i wish i was back in the army.

OK....I have to fit one more in......

6, For one night only...Wallace and Davis ARE....The Hanes Sisters!

May your days be merry and bright and may all Christmas films be as good as this.

Summary: A Christmas Classic with universal themes
Review: The critics are wrong. How can a film featuring the world's most talented individuals be anything but wonderful. Rosemary Clooney and Bing Crosby light up the screen every available instant and Danny Kaye is fabulous. As a 19-year-old who loves movies, I can't name a movie that has touched my heart, or introduces the Christmas season better than White Christmas. Watch it with the whole family!!

Summary: THE Christmas Classic
Review: I know--reviewers pan this movie regularly. But where are their hearts? How can anyone not feel a touch of sentimental patriotism when Gen. Waverly walks into the room to be applauded by his old division? Can one look at the snow falling at the beginning of the last scene without catching their breath in awe? And of course--I defy anyone to listen to the rendition of "White Christmas" without getting a tear in the eye! This is a marvelous picture...not to the level of Casablanca, perhaps...but well worth seeing!

Summary: Wonderful! An Annual Must-See Xmas Film!
Review: For some reasons the "Critics" don't like this film but that's understandable. They usually don't have clue. Believe me this is a fabulous movie. Don't try to take it seriously, it's just fun. You can tell the cast was having a blast filming it. You should have one watching it. If you're a Bing fan then you'll love this movie.

Summary: Unbeatable Family Fun
Review: This movie always makes us stop our busy holiday schedule to watch Bing & Danny charm the sisters. My sister and I still sing the "Sisters" song. You can't miss with this video
