Summary: What a rush!
Review: I can't get over the fact that I am unable to buy this amazing musical! I have played the music from this on many occasions, including in the pit orchestra for a stage performance of Guys & Dolls, and also as a marching band show. If you are a performer, you know the feeling that I am talking about here, that 'tingle' you feel when everything goes right, and you can just feel the emotion and power behind what you are playing/performing. This is one of the few musical scores that has both the power to do this to you, yet isn't as 'in your face' as something like Malaguena. It's light and humorous at times, yet in the same song, there are moments when you feel like you are just palying your heart out. This video is absolutely amazing, and the fact that Brando *SINGS* is even better. By far, however, Nicely Nicely Johnson's "Sit Down, You're Rocking the Boat" is the best song in the entire show. It would make a great closer for any performance of this musical, and also a good curtain call!

Summary: awsome
Review: I saw this movie EIGHT times. I almost know every single word! It is really a great movie and I reccomend it to EVERYONE! Marlon Brando was really hot then. I am only 13 years old, and all my friends haven't even heard of Frank Sinatra till he died, and they don't know Marlon Brando either! THey both rock!

Summary: Superb entertainment - whimsical and fun
Review: I have seen this movie many times, and each time enjoy it just as much as the time before. I am really disappointed it is not available to purchase as I really want to own it. It reflects an era that is gone and won't be matched...great actors, wonderful story, fantastic music and dancing and colorful sets, love songs, silly songs great dance scenes (like the sewer) love scenes like the trip to Cuba were fantastic. I plan to check regularly to see when this film will be available for purchase and I highly recommend it to movie buffs, especially musicals.

Summary: "My daddy always said..."
Review: I found the movie wonderful, although I will admitt there are some rough edges. Some notes that go unreached. But those notes "are not" Marlon Brando's. I didn't expect him with his thick accent to have such a wonderful singing voice. But believe me, he does! Along with Frank Sinatra and the broadway player "Nicely Nicely" this is a movie that's a must see. It has a touch of humor and a few dance numbers that make this love story one for the books.

Summary: YOU GOTTA SEE IT MORE THAN ONCE!!!!!!!!!
Review: This is the best musical (not to mention movie) in the whole entire world!!!!!!! Frank Sinatra is a wonderful Nathan Detroit and Marlon Brando is perfect in the role as Sky Masterson. You'll fall in love with all the characters.!!!! The songs are catchy and light-hearted! You'll find yourself singing and humming them all the time. PLEASE RE-RELEASE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!I WANT TO OWN IT SOOOOOOOOOO BAD!!!!!!!!! YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS WONDERFUL MUSICAL AT LEAST 10 TIMES!!!!!!

Summary: Guys and Dolls is great!
Review: Guys and Dolls is a great movie. I think the play is better than the movie (because of what they changed in the movie, and the fact that Marlon Brando can't really sing), but they did a good job on the movie, too. The highlight of the movie is Stubby Kaye's AWESOME performance of "Sit Down, You're Rockin' The Boat" (and the rest of his acting, in general). Stubby Kaye was THE original Nicely on Broadway, and I think it was a good casting decision to put him in the film, too. There are also a few more Broadway carry-overs in the movie, too. Overall, Guys and Dolls is a great story with a lot of memorable songs and a great storyline. I loved it (but I liked the play much better)!

Summary: THIS IS A REALLY FUNNY, COOL, WONDERFUL MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: This movie is really good. It's funny, Marlon Brando is a GREAT Sky Masterson, and Frank Sinatra is just so funny as Nathan Detroit, and Adelaide's songs are soooo funny. "Sit down you're rocking the boat," "Luck Be a Lady," and all the other songs are absolutely wonderful. after seeing it once, they all get stuck in my mind.

Summary: Guys and Dolls kicks butt!!!
Review: I saw this show for the first time a couple days ago. I'm so glad I recorded it while I was watching it!!! I've never seen a movie with Marlon Brando--he is a stud! Frank Sinatra was pretty cool in the show too! Anyone who likes musicals will love this show. It'd also be a good one to make people who hate musicals watch. I loved it, and I hope that it gets re-released soon so I can buy it because I know I'm gonna wear out the tape!
