Summary: Completely Hilarious
Review: If you love sick comedy, then you'll love this movie. it has just about every nasty joke you could want. From sexual jokes to racist jokes...it's there. You'll be falling out of your seat! it's drop dead funny!

Summary: Completely Hilarious!
Review: I felt really silly going to see this movie (being a 25 yr. old female) but, I have to tell you. I laughed so hard I almost had soda coming out of my nose (just like the 14 yr. old next to me). This movie is pure hilarity and the mere fact that the cursing of a bunch of (what is it?) 3rd graders? Can make a movie so funny, is very sad. YET, as you all know, it WORKS! *even my very mature 50 yr. old mother loves this movie.

The songs are classic, the writing suberb, and it's all done with such wit, charm and down right genius on the parts of Trey and Matt. These guys are a real talent.

The whole concept of "Blame Canada" is too funny for words. There are so many layers that's it easy to just chalk it up to a cartoon with no redeeming value but, that's such an unfair statement. There's a lot of dept to this movie. And, it's just too funny for words. So worth a look!

Summary: kick ( )
Review: This is crass, rude and foul. But its speaks plain truth and has a childlike joy when it reveals the hypocracy that's present when adults try to censor. Couldn't be funnier and inventive m'kay. As for me i just can't get the "don't say ( ); song out of my mind!

Summary: Loud, obscene and crude...And I loved it
Review: While some people have written off South Park as a low(er) brow Beavis And Butthead, I tell them this. This is not Beavis and Butthead Do America people. This is the way South Park was meant to be, totally uncensored. If you are turned off by swearing in some movies(watch any Quentin Tarintino movie and you'll see), I still recommend this movie. While it does have the aura of um...dirty language(and this surprising fact, there is a swear word in this movie every 2 minutes or so), it is hilarious take on modern society. It pokes fun at almost everything we hold sacred, and well, everything we don't. It ribs God, Satan, Saddam Hussein, Jewish people, and even our Canadian friends to the north. Despite its shoddy animation, it really makes up for that with its very sharp writing and dialouge. I highly recommend this to anybody who likes the show and even people who don't watch the show. But watch it cautiously, YOU WILL BE OFFENDED in one way or another.

Summary: Brutally funny and revealing
Review: Full-length feature film adapted from the infamous cable-TV potty-mouth comedy is even better than could have been expected. Young tykes bluff their way into an R-rated movie; parents horrified by the swearing therein declare war on Canada as retaliation. Exhaustingly funny and brutally revealing at the same time, in a vein that has not been explored properly since Richard Pryor's early under-the-counter-LP days. Trademark paper-cut-out animation is augmented here with CGI and some clever Xeroxed-photo images. In-jokes and cultural cross-references abound; this will need as many footnotes as "Finnegans Wake" in 50 years. Oscar-nominated song "Blame Canada" is only one highlight in an amazingly well-written musical score. (BTW, is it spelled "Saddam" or "Sodom" Hussein?...)

Summary: I Was Forced To Watch The 1st Time; Came Back For Seconds
Review: I was not interested in seeing this movie. I do not watch the show on TV. But then one night, I was held captive and forced to watch the DVD. I tried not to like the movie. I tried really hard. Damn it - it was clever! It's not for the feint of heart, but if you have an open mind, you should enjoy it.

Okay, I still don't like "Uncle F**ka" but everything else makes this very worthwhile. There are lots of clever little jokes and celebrity slams that South Park addicts have come to know and love. Even if you're an outsider, you should be able to catch plenty of them.

Stone and Parker have outdone themselves with this production. It's clever, brilliant, and really, really funny. Okay, so there's plenty of gross stuff too, but what do you expect?

I would keep the young ones away from this. By now most people know this. Sit back and be prepared to be entertained. Appreciate the talent that went into this production. The clever jokes, the GREAT songs, the great animation. Yes, great animation - check out the underworld scenes. You'll soon be coming back for more. (Don't tell my husband I liked it....)

Summary: An animation classic that kicks Disney in the *ss
Review: Just when it looked like the hype and beyond-mass-merchandising of South Park were going to (justifiably) kill the Comedy Central series, Matt and Trey devised this subversive and utterly delicious film. And unlike the basic premise of the TV show (four young friends with foul mouths, disgusting habits and repellant attitudes), "Bigger..." offers several REAL stories/plotlines and manages to resolve them effectively. And if anyone was afraid their favorite character wouldn't appear, rest assured: the only one that doesn't merit so much as a cameo is Mr. Hanky.

It should go without saying that this is balls to the wall humor...just about every facet of (American) Pop culture is blasted and laid bare, from the quintessential animated musical to American nationalism and egotism. And for once, the underlying story(ies) are compelling enough to keep viewers entertained, and the one-liners and insults are just icing.

Granted, this is probably not a film for young kids, but it is no more "negative" or alienating than the evening news. Teens and adult fans will enjoy repeated viewings, and considering the rapid-fire insults, slams and jabs, there's usually something 'new' to enjoy with each playback. As such, the DVD is a better buy....your VHS copy will get worn out.

For a TV franchise with ever-diminishing appeal, this movie is the best reason yet to give South Park a prominent place in entertainment history books to come.

Summary: South Park as it should be!
Review: The song "Blame Canada" was robbed of an Oscar.

This movie is probably the way that Trey and Matt wanted to write South Park, totally irreverant and hilariously obscene. It takes a sharp poke at the fabric of society and pulls out all the stops. Not many races or religions are spared really.

The musical score is to die for. Using easily recognizable tunes from popular Broadway acts like Les Miserables and Oklahoma, the lyrics are both funny and enjoyable. The one story arc that was creepy was the depiction of a openly gay Satan and his relationship with Saddam Hussein.

Overall, a must see for the follower of the series on Comedy Central. Best if watched after imbibing a little alcohol.
