Summary: Loveable Toys!!!
Review: Andy's toys striked again!!!

This time Woody was toynapped by a toy collector. At the toynapper's hideout, Woody met Jessie the cowgirl, Bullseye the horse and Stinky Pete the prospector, all of which the toy collector planned to sell as a set to a museum in Tokyo.

At home, the other toys came out with a rescue plan for Woody. The rescue mission will certainly made everyone roar with laughter with all the hilarious things the toys do.

A wonderful sequel to Toy Story.

Summary: What we liked and didn't like.
Review: I love when Woody rescued the cowgirl. I love when they got off the plane and they safely got on Bullseye's back. I like when they got away before they got sold to the museum. I was scared when Woody fell off Buster. -- Melissa

I like it when Buzz Lightyear rescued Woody. I liked it when the two Buzz Lightyears fighted. I didn't like it when Woody's arm broke. I didn't like it when Buzz got pushed in the box. -- Charlie

Summary: Wonderful entertainment
Review: This is a great collection and the DVD is a must have for Home theater fans. Not only are the stories richly entertaining, the Graphics are spectacular and the Dolby digital sound is fantastic. Some of the special features include both a widescreen and a "normal" screen choice, some fun outtakes and a few Pixar shorts. After having both the VHS and now the DVD versions, I encourage you to go with DVD if you can, it is well worth the difference

Summary: Excellent Set. All Family Entertainment!!!
Review: This is a set worth watching back to back. I Loved Toy Story, and Toy Story 2 was a hit; A few new characters that were as darling as the ones from the first one.

I thought it was a very clever idea to give Woody a "life", a past and the opportunity to become more real. Total blast to watch the "main" characters interact in a different environment outside of Andy's room.

Sound effects are super cool, but the DVD is lacking some features that I would expect as almost a given in a product of this nature (animation/DVD).

This is a must! a very good deal, one of the few movies really worth owning, specially because the whole family will enjoy it.

Summary: Pure Smilin' Fun-Time
Review: Check out the end credits. Pixar provides out-takes from the making of the movie. Wait a minute; out-takes from a totally computer-generated animation feature? Exactly, and this extra little bit of fun and humor speaks volumes about the creativity and overall pleasure Pixar takes in the wonderful work they do. A fantastic movie for both adults and kids, expanding on the original, but much more than your typical Disney knockoff-sequel geared only to make money.

Summary: Very funny, funny!
Review: I have to admit that as a teenager, I tend to watch mature films like Star Wars and Independence Day, but I still love Disney classics, especially this modern classic. I really loved the original of 1995, but funny as it was, the sequal was even funnier! I meant to review a single version of Toy Story 2, but by mistake reviewed this two pack DVD, so I might as well talk abou how I love them both.

The humor is so well crafted and the makers at Pixar are pure geniuses! The voice acting was also very well done and Tom Hanks couldn't get better! There are so many funny moments, you never get tired of them. When I watched the first one in 1995, I was amazed by how every few minutes there was a big laugh and the laughs got even bigger in 1999. I also really liked the story and message of it all in both films. The whole plot and storyline were very well planned out. The wonderful music of Randy Newman dazzled me with "You Got A Friend In Me" played an important role in the sequal with the touching song, "When She Loved Me". It gives the message to not through away your childhood memories, but to keep what you hold dear. Never forget your treasures, but keep them for all time. And always stick with your friends. It's always a pleasure and delight to watch these films and there is no reason why one should not get them. I can tell that a majority of these cumstumer reviews can agree to that.

Summary: Jumpin Zurg!
Review: Both of these film are terrific. Each has its own plot to follow, that will undoubtably draw you in. They are down-right funny and this collection will keep you roaring. The only question I have is...What about 3!!! The two "T's" Tom Hanks and Tim Allen were born for this kind of thing. Take it from me, you will not be disappointed!

Summary: The Perfect Hollywood Movie!
Review: 1999 was undoubtedly one of the greatest years for film since the 1970's. It was the year that brought us the darkly brilliant "Being John Malkovich," the spellbinding film "The Insider," and the richly beautiful "Topsy Turvy" (Please note I am excluding the instant classics "The Talented Mr. Ripley," "The End of the Affair," "The Sixth Sense," "The Straight Story," and "All About My Mother" due to time constraints as I could write paragraphs on how much I adored each one of these films). Yet I make no apologies for saying that "Toy Story 2" deserves to sit with these amazing artistic achievments as one of the greatest films of the late 1990's. No, it does not offer any particular new insights into the human condition, or brim with originality. But what "Toy Story 2" is, is the perfect studio film. It is that perfect Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers dance that can be marvelled at time and time again, and coax tears out of the most cynical of souls. The film brilliantly interweaves a magnificent tapestry of comedy, fun, family entertainment, and pathos that is only rarely exhibited in today's cinema. As I watched the film in an audience full of laughing children I both found myself smiling so big that my face began to hurt, and gently crying.

I loved this movie. It is great for both kids and parents alike.

Summary: Well worth the extra money for the boxed set
Review: I decided to get the boxed set for my son instead of the seperate DVD's. I was glad I did. The extra disc is filled with some great information and some good footage. My son loves these films. If these were VHS, the would be ruined by now. Both 1 & 2 are incredibly funny with humor for both kids and adults. This is one of the films we put on for my son when we don't want to deal with Pokemon.

Summary: Great Movie
Review: When you see this movie you may think it is a kid movie but you are wrong!! many people of all different ages love this movie, including me. Also, the sound and image is great!
