Rating: Summary: comedy at its best Review: This is an instant classic. No Christmas holiday is complete with the viewing Home Alone. Macauly Culkin has one of the most brilliant performances ever and the supporting cast of Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern is in top form. John Candy even shows out in his role as "the Polka King"
Rating: Summary: FUNNY, FUNNY, FUNNY Review: This is one of the funniest moives ever made. It also has a good message about reuniting family. I just don't get it when people call it violent. It is a comedy, you people need to get a life. If you like to laugh until you cry get this movie and the sequel, I guarantee you will cry!
Rating: Summary: I hate to admit it... Review: ...but I really enjoyed this movie! It was actually quite clever in parts, like when he orders the pizza. I laughed all the way through! I've heard and read a lot of negative comments on the violent (for lack of a better word) content of this film. Personally, I grew up watching Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck duke it out every Saturday morning, but I never dropped an anvil on my brother or my sister's head!!! Kids are smarter than we think. So get this movie, sit down with your children and laugh. If you've been a good parent, they won't take a blowtorch to anyone's head!
Rating: Summary: You Can Watch It Over And Over Again And Still Be Funny!! Review: I have the video and I love it! It's one of the funniest movies of all time. I crack up everytime I watch it. But the sequel (Home Alone 2: Lost in New York) is actually even more funny then this one! I love it at the end when Kevin's older brother yells "Kevin-what did you do to my room?!" I love it-and you will, too! You should defininetly buy this video-it's one of the best comedies of America ever! It should've won an Oscar, if you ask me. Oh well, I guess not every good movie can win an Oscar!
Rating: Summary: So sad and meaningful. Review: I first watched this movie when I was a very young boy, around 6 or 7 years old. I watched it with my family and it was so sad. I really think that this movie is a must-see for everyone even though it's almost a decade old, it is still filled with a lot of tears and laughter. Macaulay Culkin and the others did a fantastic job in this movie.
Rating: Summary: A Holiday Movie Too Good To Miss Review: Since the first time I saw this movie I fell in love with it. Macualay Culkin is the cutest and most talented young actor I have ever seen. The pranks Kevin McCallister comes up with are always gut splitting humour. No matter how many times I watch this movie I never get tierd of watching it. Buy it today.....i guarantee you'll love it too!!

Rating: Summary: This Is A Great Film! Review: I Have Seen this movie over 100 Times. I really Liked it. Kevin Is The Best kid in this movie. I like it when He Plans Those Bubby Traps For The Bumbling Burglers! It Is Great For The Holidays.
Rating: Summary: This movie rules!!!!!! I love Macauly Culkin!!!!!!!! Review: Home Alone is one of those movies that even if you've seen it 10,000 times, you still crack up at the funny parts. This is of course the timeless classic that started the Home Alone series. It's jam-packed with funny parts from beginning to end. Buy this today- You'll be glad you did.
Rating: Summary: Bizarre piece of Americana Review: Other Xmas movies before it never reached this extreme level in humor and violence. The movie does hit home, but leaves an uneasy feeling in your stomach. Especially after the incredibly violent second half, and then when it tries to make it seem like it was the right thing. While it does have it's moments and it's laughs, it just curves foul of a true American classic.
