Rating: Summary: SCOOBY DOO Review: This movie is SOO FUNNY. Even though I missed the beginning part, I still got the jist of what was going on. Shaggy (Matthew Lillard), Daphne (Sarah Michelle Gellar), Fred (Freddie Prinze Jr), and Velma (Linda Cardellini) played their roles perfectly. I think if these characters were played by anybody else, it wouldn't have been the same. There were a lot of funny parts in this movie. I like the part when Daphne says "Those creatures are taking over the world, that is so mean". That is just one of my favourite parts, I've got lots more...but don't worry, I won't spoil it for you.I recommend this movie to anyone. I know you might say it's a 'kiddie movie', but it's truly not. Both kids and adults can watch this movie, and both enjoy it. Another thing, it's not 'stupid' funny, it's funny funny. So give Scooby Doo a chance, and see for yourself.
Rating: Summary: Save your popcorn money! Review: Save your popcorn money for A DIFFERENT MOVIE! This one was lame. I gave it 3 stars because of Shaggy (Lillard). He did an awesome job playing Shaggy. The other castmembers were pretty good, but not great. The music was good too and I liked seeing Sugar Ray in the movie. (Pamela Anderson could have been left out though.) I think this movie was one that should have stayed a cartoon. There were sexy outfits for the girls which were a bit much and some of the language was unnecessary too. Sure, it's PG but some things just don't need to be included just to bump up the rating. Without giving away the ending, it's not a crabby old man in a costume, like usual. Frankly, I was disappointed in the ending and I am not alone on that. Others leaving the theater were not happy either. Too flat, a bit predictable and just plain wrong. A Scooby-don't.

This movie was very good and it's humor/jokes keep you laughing the whole time during the movie. I really wanted to see this movie, because it had Sarah Michelle Gellar in it and I think she is one of the greatest actresses put here on earth! All the other actors do a great job of acting in here too. All the kids will love the cute Scooby Doo and the great "cartoony-nes" of it. I recomend this movie if you love laughing out loud and our a big fan of Scooby Doo! Scooby Doo rules!

Rating: Summary: A Good Kiddie Movie Review: I went to see this movie, expecting it to be stupid. It wasn't the bomb I expected to be. Scooby and Shaggy really stole the show. My favorite scenes were the kitchen scenes. Those two scenes alone made it worth seeing the movie. I give this movie three stars for two reasons: the plot and the gang. The plot was very predictable, from the adult perspective. The second reason is Daphne, Fred, and Velma. They were totally unlike the characters I had grown up with. The girls were whiny, and Fred was an idiot. There was too much sexism involved in their characters to make them enjoyable. In this movie, Scooby and Shaggy were the brains of the outfit. Aside from the beefs, the movie was very funny and entertaining. I recommend it because it teaches a good lesson about friendship and teamwork.
Rating: Summary: Not that bad Review: After all the bad stuff I've heard about Scooby Doo, I went to see it anyway although it wasn't perffect I liked it. It's some-what corny yet cute and harmless. Well the little fart scene with Shaggy and Scooby trying to out do each other wasn't needed other than that it's a good family film for the summer. Roger Ebert's one star review was pretty harsh as this film isn't that bad at all. He didn't even see the show once yet so he could easily just pass up Mathew Lillard's fine job as Shaggy and say that Scooby was the only good thing about the movie. It's amazing and almost scary how well Lillard (Scream) plays Shaggy. In his other movies with Freddie Prinze Jr., he's outstaged by Freddie but here he totally steals the show. Makes me wonder why he wasn't leading man over Prinze all along actually as he's the one that can act. Besides Lillard being good Linda Cardalinni is fine as Velma, got the part down pretty well. Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar weren't as good though as Fred and Dalphnie. Freddie just looks and acts like a dork and Sarah's Dalphnie kind of reminds me of when she played the Buffy robot on Buffy. She plays her as too much of a dimwit, same goes with Freddie. Their whole kiss at the end wasn't needed, it just feels like Fred and Daphnie had to kiss only because Freddie and Sarah had to show off that they're a real life couple. Plus all Freddie does besides acting dorky is his usual smirk every 30 seconds. What I liked is that I wasn't expecting Scrappy Doo but he makes a small appearance but don't worry they make more fun of him than anything. Also like the little inside joke about Shaggy's van being smoked out. I think the film was surprisingly well done. The CGI Scooby was a lot of fun, not exactly the Scooby from the show but still he was a hoot and steals the show along with Lillard. Maybe in the sequel, Shaggy, Scooby and Velma could solve a mystery without Daphnie and Fred.
Rating: Summary: AWESOME!!! Review: I don't care what anyone says. This movie was hysterical. The jump from cartoon to CGI was amazing for dog named doo and all of the characters were well portrayed by the live actors. Sarah was very convincing as the ex cheerleader-type rich girl Daphne. Matthew Lillard nailed Shaggy right down to the walk and the voice. Linda Cardelini was very very convincing as Velma, and Freddie was pretty good at playing the ascot wearing camera hog. This movie is totally worth while for anyone who was ever a fan of the show. While there is some adult humor, this is a great kid or family film. Enjoy it for what it is. Mush like the cartoon, Scooby Doo centered around the gang going on an adventure to capture a criminal. They are swept away to a them park island owned by the creepy Mandavarius (played exceptionally by Rowan Atkinson), and the gang must find out what is turning the teenaged park enthusiasts into mindless zombies before it is too late. Even Scooby enthusiasts won't be able to figure out who the real culprit is.
Rating: Summary: !!!Scooby Dooby Doo!!! Review: Yes,thats right,Scooby Doo has hit the big screen!Only instead of a cartoon movie,a motion picture in real life! I saw the movie on the theater on June 21. Well, anyway, the movie is about our heroes after solving another mystery, they get called to a theme park callled Spooky Island. Where there is said to be a ghost haunting the area in the park. It's up to the gang once again to solve the case and have their greatest mystery ever solved.
