Summary: Perceptive and witty overlooked gem
Review: A witty, perceptive movie about a group of college friends and how they adjust to love, money, sex, the outside world, and brunches. The script is a throwback to screwball comedies where the characters were dimensional and the viewer cared about each character. The performances are flawless. Special mention to Maddie Corman and the delectable, hot, phenomenally talented Christian Maelen. The man is so delicious in every way humanly possible that he will charm the pants of both men and women. This movie is a real treat. An intelligent movie that does not rely upon gross out humor to involve the audience.

Summary: A clever movie with moments of true wit
Review: As a guy who went to college with the director, Brian Sloan, I may be a bit biased. I bought this movie before I saw it, after seeing Brian's addition to the Boy's Life anthology. Movies that are even remotely gay-themed can be hard to find here, in the buckle of the Bible belt.

I am not one to gush, but I enjoyed this movie immensely. It has a good heart. Perhaps part of it is a shared sensibility (we DID go to the same college, and this IS partially about one's college experiences), but I honestly think that the problems in the film are far outweighed by the witty yet honest writing and truly wonderful performances by Christian Maelen (Brendan) and Lauren Velez (Carol).

I MUST now determine what else Ms. Velez has been in - she made the movie for me! Thanks to all - Brian, keep up the good work. We ALL need more movies like this!

Summary: "I Think I Do" have to see this movie again!
Review: As a student at the George Washington University, I have to say that this was a great movie (not like I'm partial or anything). It was great to see a topic such as this come out of dormitory closets, and into mainstream! Right on!

Summary: "I can't believe I can be such a ham!"
Review: Ever fall in love with your best friend? Only he doesn't care about you? But he seems to now? and wait! Your best friend is the same gender as you? Confused?...Don't be...sort of.. This delightful comedy of errors touches on many subplots with a nice balance, if a tad overlong at spots. Performances are refreshingly candid and light. I specially liked Tuc Watkins as the befuddled lover who gets dumped by a very believable Alexis Arquette. Very nice soundtrack courtesy of the Partridge Family. See it.

Summary: Brilliantly funny film
Review: Everything about this film works - the first time you see it and the fourth. True to life and endearing leads, wonderful secondary characters who come close to stealing the film, music that works, and other than a very shaky first ten minutes (get through it and beyond it since what comes after is wonderful) worth every moment. The director from one of the "Boys Life" shorts really comes into his own with his first full length feature. And you don't have to be gay to really enjoy this gay-themed film...it has something for everybody.

Summary: Finally!!! The perfect gay romantic comedy!
Review: I finally got the chance to see the movie and absolutely loved it! All of the characters are wonderful, and the writing top-notch. The flick even has a happy ending (sorry, you'll have to watch it to see it). For any gay man who believes in true love, this is the perfect date movie. A definite must-have for any video collection!

Summary: A sweet and romantic movie that leaves you feeling good!
Review: I first saw this movie and was a little uncomfortable about the homesexual view point, but after the second time of seeing it, I fell in love. It doesn't matter if you're straight or not, it is the sweetest movie that makes you walk away feel good about love!

Summary: WHAT A GREAT LITTLE FILM!
Review: I had never heard of this film and wasn't even looking to watch it when I ran across it while channel surfing one night. What I discovered was a real delight. Bob and Brendan are best friends and room mates at college. Bob wants to be more than friends, but Brendan's undecided. Flashforward 5 years as they and their old school friends reunite for a wedding and the sexual hijinx start to fly! I found it fun and funny and very fresh and open about the subject of homosexuality. The dialogue is sharp and witty and all the performers are great, especially Tuc Watkins as a self-absorbed soap star and Guilermo Diaz as Bob's not-so-clueless-as-he-seems friend. I bought the DVD as soon as it became available and have watched it twice already. What a great little film!

Summary: Hilarious and beautiful film. A must-see.
Review: I have seen few films in my life which delight me as much as "I Think I Do." It is a tragedy that everyone on earth has not seen this little gem. And it is amazing that director Brian Sloan had only made one short film before making this gem. If you need a smile, get this film right away.

Summary: This is a sweet, hilarious, and touching romantic comedy
Review: I just got this movie today and I have already seen it like 4 or 5 times. Bob lusted after Brendan their whole senior year of college--but Brendan was confused about his sexuality so Bob got his heart broken. Now the whole group of college friends are getting together for a wedding and Brendan has known that he is gay for several years now--but he has not met Mr. Right yet--so he is hoping to start up a relationship with Bob. But Bob is in a long-term relationship with Sterling--a soap opera star in the soap that Bob writes for.

There are a lot of other sub-plots going on and they are a little annoying because I wish they had just concentrated on the love triangle between Bob-Sterling-and Brendan. However, one of the more humorous subplots is that Sara, who slept with Brendan in college, is now again chasing him relentlessly. Beth and Eric are another of the subplots--they lusted after each other in college but for some reason never got it together. They each meet one night stands at the reception for the wedding, yet it is still clear that they are lusting after each other. Matt and Carol are the ones getting married-they have been together ever since college-and their relationship is very tenuous. They are not the epitome of a couple deeply in love, and they spend a lot of time fighting.

Despite all the subplots I absolutely adored this movie. I like Brendan's character the best-I think that the guy who played him was the best actor in this movie.
