Summary: Pleasent fluff piece
Review: On a whole the story is entertaining so long as you can ignore some of the stereo types, (caveman husband, gay decorator, perky busybody and snob mother,"I may someday be able to accept you as a lesbian, but you must do something about those shoes".)And an overly simplified story ("My best friend is a lesbian and those videos were amusing, oh my I am gay now")

Summary: Quite simply, I loved it!
Review: After reading a previous review that left me scratching my head and saying, "what! where was that! " I felt compelled to submit my own review of this movie. Quite simply, I loved it! Some of the acting is a bit over the top (i.e., exaggerated), but the overall sincerity of the content shines through. This film realistically depicts the challenges of living and "coming out" in a small town, where everyone knows everyone else and everyone else's business. The honesty of the porch scene with Alex and Grace had me exclaiming, "Exactly!" And the dismissal of the butch-femme steroetype by portraying both lead females as femmes allowed me to further identify with this movie. But don't take my word for it~~see it for yourself and you, too, will immediately want to own it!

Summary: You'll want more from Alex and Gracie
Review: The movie revolves around three sets of characters: A high society women and her best friend, A sexually confused newspaper writer and his soon to be lover, and a man dying of aids as his lover stands by his side. Although that may sound depressing, it is not the core of the movie and doesn't detract from the other stories. Some of the acting is good, some actors we'll probably never see in another movie. The characters Alex and Gracie are enjoyable to watch, they are able to portray a true attraction for each other. Their "love scene" is too brief for those die hard romantics...but it was nice to watch. If you like kisses with passion, you'll enjoy those two. The other stories really add to the movie and show a variety of ways society deals with gay issues. If you like watching attractive actors, you'll like this movie, it has several. Enjoy.

Summary: This is the silliest movie i've ever seen!
Review: Although far better than Bar Girls, this movie ranks high in the "stupid lesbian movie" category. It's funny though, and I somehow recommend seeing it... but don't buy it. I won't ruin the ending for you, but it will undoubtedly inspire laughter. e.g: ha ha ha! Happy Viewing! Watch it after a breakup to remind you not to date those dreaded: "bi-curious" girls.

Summary: A powerful movie of self-discovery and true love.
Review: This movie captures how two individuals come to grips with who they are, and it captures it better than any movie I've ever seen. To see the intimacy that they begin to develop in their new relationships, and to see that as "normal", is very refreshing. The humor is great because it is real life and the ending is very emotional. I recommend this movie to everyone who may be struggling with who they are and to everyone else so they can see the trials and tribulations that individuals go through with self-discovery.

Summary: 5 stars is not enough
Review: What this movie does, and few major films do, is show lesbians and gay men as real people. Too many times Hollywood portrays gays and lesbians as only homicidal deviants or pathetic, dying AIDS patients. Here we see real people living real lives, but with (if you'll pardon the pun) a bit of tongue in cheek. Not a serious introspective into the "alternative lifestyle", but a lighter look at what it means to be different. The last line leaves you with an extra smile - like stepping into a sunbeam on a cold winter day. Definitely a "feel good" movie.

Summary: LIVES ON IN YOUR MIND LONG AFTER THE FINAL MOMENT.
Review: Humorous and heartwarming. Keeps you smiling and hurting and cheering and wanting right along with the characters. The love scenes are short but wonderfully passionate - you feel the longing as though it were your own. A beautiful experience.

Summary: I believed the love between the two women and the two men.
Review: For a little independent film I thought "It's In The Water" really captured the excitement of a first time encounter. Especially an encounter with not only someone you would never have thought of in "that way" but a person of the same sex. I was so impressed with the believability of the love scenes. They were tasteful and wonderful to watch. Two beautiful women (and I mean beautiful inside and out) kissing is one of the most erotic things to see (for me anyway) but only if it's done right and REAL. Besides the love, the humor was wonderful as well. I found it entertaining enough that I watched it three times within one 24-hour period.

Summary: Leaves you wanting more!
Review: I enjoyed this movie because it pulls you in to their lives and keeps you there with laughter. This movie is a must see because the people are very real to our every day lives and so are their struggles for acceptance.

Summary: WARMTH & LAUGHTER
Review: There aren't that many lesbian movies about, but this stands out for having a positive ending, no drugs, violence or explicit scenes. The two actresses are well cast and have on screen chemistry, playing well adjusted characters, which is so lacking in some other films. The commentary is interesting to see how the film was pulled together on a tight budget and doesn't spend too much time preaching to the non-converted. I love the romantic meeting between the two female characters and the two guys in the sub plot. The supporting characters are over the top, but then don't take it too seriously. Every time I watch this film is makes me chuckle. I love the girls American accents. Worth the money.
