Review: Damn this movie is funny. Clerks was wicked, mallrats...I dident mind. And now Chasing Amy is just funnier then both put together. That whole "star wars is racist" thing was funnier then anything I've seen this century. Excellent dialogue and some pretty good acting, Chasing Amy is a real funny film with heart.

Summary: Great Movie, until the end
Review: After watching Clerks and Mallrats, I was very interested in see Kevin Smith's third outing, Chasing Amy. I liked the fact that it was a different, more serious movie than the other two. I love the subtle connections between all three movies. However, the choices that Ben Affleck's charater made in the end was quite different that I thought they would have been.

Review: When i first started watching Chasing Amy i didn't expect much since i hadn't heard of it but as the movie progressed it had me glued till the end! It is so true to life about how a guy can have a huge crush on a girl even though other people might try to discourage him because of her so-called faults. a great movie!

Review: Perhaps the funniest film I saw in all of 1996. Fresh, vibrant, hilarious and moving. Excellent performances from Ben Affleck and Joey Lauren Adams, with wonderfully hilarious support from Jason Lee and Dwight Ewell. Too bad Affleck is now making Hollywood no-brainer action flicks with Bruce Willis and smarmy romantic comedies with Sandra Bullock.

Review: This movie was so true to life as was Mallrats and Clerks. Hillarious. Perfect ending to the trilogy. I hope Kevin Smith doesn't end it here, he is brilliant. Chasing Amy is my favorite movie. I can relate to Holden and Alyssa, it's the same way I fell in love. Looking foward to another Silent Bob film.

Review: I really didn't care for Mallrats, Clerks, etc. very much, so I had dim hopes for Chasing Amy, which I had never heard of when I saw it at the video store. I have to say, it blew me away. It was well written, well-acted, creative, funny, "deep" but not preachy, and off the wall all at once. I can't recall another movie similar enough to compare it to. It actually has a decent plot, and is engaging from beginning to end. I would recommend it highly, particularly to anyone between 17 and 40.

Review: Every man at least once in his life comes into the situation of pouring your heart out to a woman that is a dream, and everytime it is the biggest risk a man wants to take. His honor an dignity are on the line, his came to what he wanted, sadly mine didn't. The true to life realism of the choices and acts a person takes are shown in this film just the truth. Just as "Swingers" does, so does "Chasing Amy" show the "Truth".
