Rating: Summary: Subtle Inventiveness Reigns Supreme! Review: Anyone should be able to comprehend and love this brilliant film. My nine year old daughter even thought so. Australian Master of Slapstick Disaster delivers a golden egg. Inventive and surrealistic sets, superb lighting, slick dialogue, (of course the usual poke at how ridiculously serious we are as a society) and overall ingenius execution make this one of my top two movies of all time. It's a shame this artist doesn't get the kudos he deserves...ah, well, you have to enjoy life and have the ability to laugh at yourself to appreciate this film. It's too bad most of us can't....
Rating: Summary: Not really sure yet Review: I have learned that with Yahoo Serious you need to be patient. Sometimes it takes a while to get the humor behind what he is doing as was the case with his last film Reckless Kelly. The first time I watched it I don't think I laughed more than once but over the next few years I watched it again and again (because I really liked his first movie Young Einstien) and it grew on me more and more. Now it is one of my favorite movies. Well with this one (Mr. Accident) I can't really say if I like it yet but the first and only time I watched it I only laughed a few times. Perhaps I should have waited to write this review. Maybe I can update it in two years...?
Rating: Summary: The worst Aussie film in years Review: I honestly don't know why the person above found "Mr. Accident" so interesting. I went to see it with my friend, and we were hoping for some good Aussie humour and unpredictability.Unfortunatley, what we got was a b-grade, flatly-written, predictable, unfunny, and painfully boring movie, and we left the cinema feeling like we had been cheated from our money, and I have no doubt that the other people in the cinema felt pretty much the same because half of them left before the movie was over, and absolutley nobody laughed even once throughout the entire movie.
Rating: Summary: Live Action "Buggs Bunny/Road Runner" Show Review: Mr. Accident is a deliberate series of non-stop disasters and near death experiences reminiscent of Saturday Morning's Warner Brothers Cartoons. Like the coyote who falls off the cliff 5 times per episode, the "leading man" (more like an over grown klutzy child) always manages to potpone his meeting with the Grimm Reaper. This Australian "surprise" is offensively un-funny, and at times even depressing. The second star is for the visual stunts (some never attempted by anyone since Daffy Duck) and the use of vivid colors (like in those high class national laundry detergent commercials). There may be an age bracket where this "comedy" finds a following. I have definitely passed that age long ago. Calling all pre-teens: Here's a "ha-ha" for ya!**
Rating: Summary: Serious-ly [dull] movie Review: My wife and I got this, hoping for a fun silly, movie. A bit more Austrailian and such. Instead we got one of the most boring unfunny movie ever. Each joke was executed with a vaccume of unfunnyness. We went in with low expectations, hoping for just a goofy fun movie, but we were sorely dissapointed. This move makes Paulie Shore and Carrot Top seem like comic geniouses by comparision... ...... One of the WORST movies EVER!... and not in a good way.

Rating: Summary: Pure insanity! Review: Please note that on all of the films of Yahoo Serious, the reviewers' evaluations seesaw to the extremes. That is because you either hate or love this kind of humor -- there is no middle road. Inspired insanity just isn't for everyone. I and the rest of my family LOVE these movies. And Mr Accident was the best! The scene with the avalanche had us falling off the chairs laughing. And the insouciant flipping open of egg cartons to offer one (you have to watch the movie to see why this is done -- I won't tell) is just too funny. SEE THIS FILM!
Rating: Summary: Very funny british comedy Review: This is off the wall ramdom slapstick humor. You have to know when you're going into a Yahoo Serious comedy that you're going to get some really goofy stuff. Even the more subtle social satire that he loves to weave into his movies can go unoticed by some people, or get lost in the silly antics of the physical comedy. If you like british humor, this is a must see. I enjoyed it, but remember DON'T TAKE IT SERIOUSLY! If you do that, you will enjoy this hilarious movie!
Rating: Summary: Got FUNNIER as it went on...It started off HILARIOUS ! Review: This movie is a blast. It has it's faults, mostly editing issues, but it never stopped entertaining. It's British humor makes it unique. I think this movie is a must for anyone who loves off-the-cuff and unpredictable humor.
Rating: Summary: Very Funny Stuff Review: This movie is hilarious. If you like these kind of movies, and most people with a sense of humor will, see it. It's kind of like "License to Drive" and "Raising Arizona."
