Summary: The funniest movie i've ever seen
Review: I just recently saw this WONDERFUL movie on tv and luckily had a blank tape in the VCR and was able to record it. Now I wish I had it from the very beginning(i missed the whole part with the sardines telephone and newspaper) so now I have to tell everybody what happened before where I started and its just too hard. I cant wait to recomend this play for my High School Drama Club!

Summary: Timing IS Everything!
Review: High farce is rarely carried off with the precision timing of this production of Noises Off. Like many of the other reviewers here, I stumbled on this film by accident. I've been hooked on it ever since. No matter how many times you see it, you roar with laughter every time. A wonderful cast full of comedic talent, a brilliantly staged performance...and it's NOT Available for purchase??? ARGH! I echo others here when I say we can only hope someone in a position to influence the decision reads these reviews and lets this laugh-a-minute film out of the vaults again. (Watching it on broadcast television is a disaster, as the commercial breaks kill the rapid-fire farcical pacing.) Pardon me, but I have to pop out and fetch a plate of sardines. :-)

Summary: What a Happy Accident!
Review: Yes! One night I happened to catch this movie on TV - a joyous occasion, as there's usually nothing on when I have free time for a movie - and laughed almost as much as I did when I saw the play live a number of years ago. I would have laughed as much, but the darned commercials broke the pace a bit. This is a keeper for any comedy-loving household, and as we've all given it five stars so far, I hope a decision maker comes along and decides it's high time for a re-release .... Please?!?!?

Review: I agree with all the previous reviews of this movie. We too found it quite by accident and were just dying with laughter. I have had major medical problems lately and know that laughing is good for you. I would love to be able to buy this video (as would the rest of the reviewers). Maybe with any luck some decision maker will see these reviews and reissue this movie. I would have to thank this great ensemble cast. Yeah

Summary: What a riot!
Review: My family and I are theater fanatics, and having participated in many productions, we love this movie because much of the chaos rang true. We found the movie by accident one day and couldn't stop laughing. Now, every time we go to see a show and we hear, "Ladies and Gentleman, please take your seats..." my mom and I start the whole bit with the changing times. The comedy -- both slapstick and verbal -- is brillant and pulled off with much aplomb by the great cast. Unfortunately, our copy is messed up, and the tape isn't available. *sniff*

Summary: A faithful adaptation of an extremely funny play!
Review: I found the movie version while actually working on a production of the stage version. I loved it. It is one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time. This is probably one of the best movie adaptations of a play that I have ever seen. The cast assembled for the movie give a real sparkle and brilliance. I wish I could find it to purchase.

Summary: Uproarious comedy...
Review: Noises Off is an unbelievably funny movie. Like most of the other reviewers, I came across it purely by accident and I'm very happy that I did. The characters are outstanding, the plot is very fast paced, and the acting is flawless (especially Michael Caine's). I can't recommend this movie enough...watch it and you'll understand why. Hopefully someone will come to their senses and make this movie widely available for purchase once again.

Summary: The single movie my whole family watches over and over.
Review: The quality of the actors, combined with top-notch timing and depth of wit, from slapstick to irony, makes this a movie my whole family laughs at over and over till their stomachs hurt and tears flow. We've introduced it to friends and family, virtually always to the same effect. It's now worn out, and we can't find one to buy! Help!
