Summary: LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!
Review: This movie is so darn funny! I remember having to watch it in a drama class my first year in high school and everyone loved it! One of the funniest movies I have ever seen and I am shocked and angered it is not released on DVD yet!!! What is up with the people who are in charge of turning VHS movies into DVDs? They completely ignore this film and pay attention to some really dumb movies! This MUST be released on DVD. Also it is probably my favorite John Ritter(Rest in Peace and god bless your soul!)movie! RELEASE IT ON DVD PLEASE!

Summary: John Ritter is excellent and will be missed!
Review: The physical comedy of John Ritter is the key to this film. After Ritter's tragic death, I went back and viewed this ensemble comedy again. I fould myself particularly noticing his amazing knack for timing and his talent for finding the perfect facial expression or gesture. When you combine all of the other talent (one of Christopher Reeve's last roles before his accident), it is amazing that this movie is not available on DVD. Someone at the distribution studio must be asleep at the wheel!

Summary: Better than chicken soup
Review: If laughter truly is the best medicine, this movie has the cure for whatever ails you! This is true slapstick comedy at its best. Carol Burnett and and the late, great John Ritter are at their finest. Buy a copy before they disappear -- you won't regret it.

Summary: Brilliantly funny, better than Clue...
Review: I like Clue but Noises off was even better! I wish they would put this on DVD. ... I just saw a rerun on late night TV and had to find it. I found myself waking people up in my house because I was laughing soo hard/loud.
The subtle and multiple subplots creates great comedy and Noises off pulls all of them togeather with a lot of laughs in return. I forgot how the old "pants falling off" bit was. Put me in line to buy the DVD any day...

Summary: Bloody Brilliant
Review: I really do love this film. It's worth seeing for Carol Burnett, Michael Caine, Denholm Elliott, Julie Hagerty, Marilu Henner, Mark Linn-Baker, Christopher Reeve, John Ritter, and Nicolette Sheridan alone. Well actually, that's pretty much the entire cast. What I mean is, it's great fun to watch these nine people lose their minds trying to get plates of sardines on and off the stage. The script is a thing of beauty, quick-paced (snap snap snap!), honestly witty, and the cast actually does it real justice - even through the grueling and brilliantly choreographed physical comedy. Don't dawdle. Just buy it.

Summary: laughing at someone else's misfortunes
Review: Although actors, directors, and crew members who have put on a show have an easier time relating to this movie, pretty much anybody who's ever had a good idea go wrong will get a kick out of Noises Off. You get acquainted with the actors' on- and off-stage characters, and the storyline of the play they're doing, just so you can see how badly they mess it up and how chaotic things can get on the road and backstage. Most of the comedy is slapstick and verbal...it's one of thoes movies that you almost always find something new every time you watch it. There's definitely a little bit of sexual humor...enough that it's not a family-type movie, so just a little warning. It's for sure a good group movie, almost funnier when watched in mixed company. This is definitely one of those little-known gem type of movies, especially with all the big name actors. It's not surprising to find Carol Burnett and Michael Caine in it, but what a different side of Christopher Reeve! I would highly recommend adding this movie to your comedy collection.

Summary: Great entertainment!
Review: If the point of a movie is to entertain, then Noises Off! has succeeded brilliantly. Even though the direction is somewhat pedestrian, this excellent ensemble cast is able to (usually) rise above it. I find it sad that it did not do well at the box office, and it was, I believe, prematurely pulled. Personally, I have to be sure to have taken my asthma medications before watching it, and each time I watch it, I find some new tidbit which I had missed before...excellent slapstick farce/comedy. I recommend it highly. You have to pay attention, though, because the point usually fast-paced dialogue can easily slip away, and you may have just missed another reason to laugh.

Summary: FANTASTIC ABSOLUTLY THE BEST EVER!!!
Review: Micheal Caine and Carol Burnett shine!!! HILARIOUS!! I happened to stumble across this movie when it was on T.V one day, and i've been hooked ever since, the all star cast is amazing!! This movie really gives you the inside look on behind the scenes of stage work, and how easily it can be disrupted. This movie will have you glued to the screen!! Have you waiting for what funny mishaps will happen next!! The scenes are so entertaining, and funny, you'll die laughing. This is my FAVORITE movie ever. Funny how Micheal Caine enjoys his Gummie Bears too in this film!!! This is a definite MUST SEE!!! The only thing wrong is that it is not on DVD yet . I've been waiting awhile , but as soon at it does I will be first in line to add it to my collection!!!!!!

Summary: One of the funniest of all time!
Review: This movie is so funny, I had to watch it three times before seeing/hearing all the jokes. I literally laughed so hard in places I missed parts of the movie. I rank it with What's Up Doc and the In-Laws as one of the funniest movies ever. I have the movie on Laserdisc and the fact that it is not yet available on DVD is one of the reasons my laserdisc player is still hooked up to my TV (the original Star Wars Trilogy is the other reason).

Summary: Noises Off should be ON everybody's shopping list!
Review: This is probably the funniest, slickest movie I have ever seen. The movie - which has a star-studded cast - is side-splittingly funny. It is also clever, witty, brilliantly acted and directed. The timing is simply awesome, and every time you watch it you find something new - a line, a gesture, a background activity, a throwaway remark - which you missed before and which reduces you to helpless laughter. This is one of the - if not THE - most underrated comedies ever.
