Summary: funny for the first ride
Review: if you wanna watch this over and over again I , dont...its better if you watch it once. this is about Foxx and his girlfriend leaves him and then he ends up being Held Up by some robbers who are so stupid. the cops come, or should I say uneducated cops come to teh scene. my favorite bit is where Foxx thinks he is grazed with a bullet and it turns out its a dorito chip(the part where the microwave explodes). Jake Busey and Michael Shamus Wiles(military man) add some spark as well.

Review: ok I truly belive Jamie Fox is versitle,and truly talented . He's proved that in movies,telivision,and he has a great voice. So mabey i expected too much out of this movie ,but i thought it wasnt funney,it was boring,and a waste of money. If your going to rent this because of jamie dont even,It barly shows his skills and has a lame plot.

Review: Ok, this wasn't the funniest movie I ever saw, but it gave me a few good laughs. The story is pretty basic: Michael's girlfriend leaves him at a conveniance store in the middle of Nevada after she finds out he spent their house money on a "classic" car. The store is then held up by an inexperienced criminal who takes all the customers hostage when the local police show up. The rest of the movie focuses on how the hostages get freed so that Michael can go catch his girlfriend at the Las Vegas airport. All in all not the best movie or plot I've ever seen, but for a boring Saturday night it did the job for me.

Review: Sorry Jamie and Nia -- this one did not live up to expectations. This low budget movie is full of stereotypes (about Hispanics) and quite boring.I've seen Jamie in at least one other comedy which rocked, and am disappointed with HELD UP from start to finish. Nia is an A-plus actress, and I don't know why she agreed to star in this dud. Better luck next time, Jamie and Nia. Be pickier about which movies you agree to act in. Otherwise you'll end up like Chris Rock - always acting in stupid movies.
