Review: ok, any movie that links elvis to the beatles is the greatest ever. tarantino is one of the smartest people ever, and (having met him personally) i own all of his works and find this one the best. also, it has an amazing tendency to relate to EVERYTHING. i watch it religiously and have had it taken up at school 3 times loaning it to people. GOD BLESS QUENTIN TARANTINO. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. A MUST SEE.thanks, jonathan

Review: As I read over these reviews, two things bother me in particular. The first is the tendency of the 5 star ratings to glorify and idolize Pulp Fiction as if it were the greatest artistic achievement ever. The second is the tendency of the low reviews to trash the movie on so-called "moral" grounds. Pfft. The content of the movie is trash? Go figure, because that's basically what all pulp fiction is. That's the *concept* of the film. And in any case, I think it's absolutely ludicrous to judge a film on your own personal moral grounds. To me, a movie like Independence Day is far more immoral and sick than this. Even certain Disney films. Onscreen violence and a lack of a socially "relevant" message does not mean that the said film is a work of Evil, and certainly does not make it a bad piece of cinema. Pulp Fiction is a vital, energetic, unique (I know Tarantino borrows a lot of his ideas, but so does everyone, and I'll argue with anyone who says his usage of them is not original), and unflinching film. As for accusations of Pulp Fiction trying to be "hip," well -- let me just say I found the dialogue and camera-work in this movie a LOT more entertaining than in any of the post-Pulp Fiction imitations that've come since 1994, and there have been a lot of them. Personally I like this movie a great deal, it just bothers me to see it worshipped and/or treated like it were the work of Satan.

Review: This film not only resurrected Travolta's career, but it's also brought Dusty Springfield and Dick Dale back to the spotlight. Snappy dialogue, unexpected twists and turns make this one of the best film's of the decade.

Summary: Excellent movie, too bad the DVD quality took it down
Review: I really love this movies, its one of those flicks you can watch every six months without being bored... But... The DVD transfer of this movie really dissappointed me. Dont get me wrong, its still very acceptable, still a lot better than VHS. The problem is the DVD is in widescreen (i mean REAL wide), but the resolution of the DVD is the same as a fullscreen DVD. This makes the DVD look a little unsharp, so maybe you should get the Reservoir Dogs DVD instead (which i also bought and had excellent quality). But still i strongly recommend this movie, great actors, great script.

Review: This is a truly brilliant film. The actors all are right for the parts. The script is brilliant. It isn't shamelessly violent, which many of the reviews of it say, but realistic. It is one of the best films I have ever seen and deserves all 5 of the stars I have given it.
